Perfect pub atmosphere. Football was on, dim lighting, good beer. Bartender was friendly, as well as some of the regulars.
You'll wanna try the chilli dog- it's delicious.
Watch out for the beers though, some of the prices can sneak up on ya.View more

This wayyyyy exceeded our expectations. We came in for some standard pub food in a pinch & were both astounded. My burger was massive & tasted really fresh & my wife's chicken tikka was perfect. Radishes & microgreens in the salad & everything. Awesome service too, thank you Chemika!!View more

Très sympa comme pub ! Une belle découverte au centre-ville de Montréal. L'ambiance est agréable, avec la possibilité de regarder du sport, notamment des matchs de basket. On peut également manger, même à une heure tardive, ce qui est appréciable. Le service est au rendez-vous & ajoute à l'expérience.View more
Short review, environment was good definitely reminded me of an Irish Pub. Food was okay, the fries were good but the rest of the food was probably average, wasn't necessarily bad. The bathroom was in the basement & was not the cleanest.View more

We initially tried to dine at Maison Publique McLean, but a friendly staff member let us know that their kitchen had closed & kindly directed us to their sister property, McLean Pub, just a few blocks away. When we arrived at McLean Pub, the place was packed due to a UFC night. Despite the crowd, we mentioned to the doorman that we were sent over from Maison McLean, & he graciously made an exception, finding us a spot. He did warn us about the noise & the fact that the kitchen was about to close soon, but we decided to stay. The service was impressively fast & efficient, especially given how busy they were. On top of that, the food was fantastic. I have to say, they serve the best buffalo wings I've ever had! The whole vibe of the place was fun & lively, adding to the overall great experience. Highly recommend McLean Pub for anyone looking for great food, excellent service, & a unique, energetic atmosphere.View more

We always make a trip here when we're in Montreal. They serve an old school pepperoni sub that's hard to get anywhere else & so good. Pizzas are delicious. The side salad with micro greens is much more impressive than you'd ever expect from a pub. They make fantastic Caesar's (I suspect some pickle brine added?) Service is friendly, sometimes confused or distracted, but it works with dive pub vibe. Wouldn't hesitate to pop in for a drink & snack. But wish they answered the phone or posted their kitchen hours online.View more

We were a group of 12 dudes cruising / predrinking before bachelor party shenanigans ended up at Mclean's . We watched game 6 Stanley cup finals upstairs.to start , location of Mclean's is unreal . In the heart of the city!! The service : Huge shout out to the bar staff upstairs - Steph & Tim were absolutely swamped but managed to juggle multiple large groups along with many smaller groups & keep the service top notch . They were proactive & helpful when it came to drink request & food request . Other staff member up there were helpful with clean up as well . Great job to all the staff for sure! Food quality : top notch . I had chicken wings & burger ... delicious ! Kudos to the chef !! Price point : extremely fair . Was expecting to pay a premium for the drinks I was ordering & to my surprise it was lower then anticipated ! Atmosphere : it was great . I was at Macleans today, unfortunately I didn't get our servers name, but I can tell you now, in my 58 years alive I've done a lot of traveling, been to a lot of places, encountered a lot of people, but the young lady serving us today was the best server I've ever met. We found the pub on Valentine's Day & it was very quiet. The staff was very attentive & friendly. There for any of our needs. Greg served us that night & he was extraordinary, going above & beyond. He made suggestions on the menu & took the time to get to know us. A great ambassador for the bar. The chef not only was an amazing cook, he was very friendly & outgoing as well. Overall, the staff was amazing which brought us back in on Thursday & Saturday as well. They were all well trained.View more
