McKiernan est un espace chaleureux et lumineux avec une atmosphère conviviale et familiale, où les plats sont souvent salués, notamment les choux de Bruxelles, le poulet rôtisserie, le schnitzel, le rôti de boeuf et les donuts, et le menu familial ou en portions individuelles facilite les repas en groupe et les célébrations; le brunch est également apprécié pour sa valeur et sa variété. L'ambiance est vive et accueillante, dans un cadre industriel chic avec une belle lumière naturelle, bien que certains trouvent le niveau sonore élevé et l'expérience parfois chaotique lorsque le service est surchargé. Perfect balance of fancy but not stuffy. Great dishes, the devilled brussel sprouts were amazing, so was the roast beef. There was a marriage proposal at the table right next to us, many festive occasions, mutiple birthdays. Beautiful place. Really good food. Excellent waiters. Great desserts, especially their famous homemade donuts.
The only downside is the noise level due to their high ceilings.
Absolutely loved our experience here. We came as a group & enjoyed the family style menu, & tried a bunch of their dishes. I loved the Brussel sprouts, the rigatoni & the chicken with gravy the most! Can't wait to go again in the future.
Not sure if we went on an off night or if Mckiernans is extremely overhyped. To start off on a good note - our waitress was very kind & did explain to us that the kitchen was a bit slow (totally fine).
I had high-ish expectations for Mckiernans from reading reviews, their instagram, & being a fan of Liverpool House. What I didn't expect was to have my first bad meal l in this city.
We ordered a few dishes (2 apps) & 3 mains to try a bit of everything. The apps ended up coming with the main meals which we didn't expect. Not a fan. Every single bite that was taken was bland & somewhat dry. It's like they completely forgot to add salt before during or after making the dishes. Overwhelming when they brought all the food at once.. underwhelming when eating. I do hope this was just a crazy Friday night & not an every weekend occurrence of meh.

I didn't know tomato could be savoured until my diner at McKiernan. Wow! I loved the tomato & burrata starter. The bread, the chicken, the cheesecake dessert, everything was top notch. The place is baby friendly & the staff was very thoughtful.
Poulet rôti avec sauce, aubergine avec sauce rosé, choux de Bruxelles avec amandes & sauce au fromage bleu
Tout est bon , bien servi, belle ambiance!!!

Nous sommes allés au Mc Kiernan en famille hier & nous avons adoré notre soirée. Nourriture exceptionnelle, excellent service & ambiance chaleureuse. Je recommande fortement !
It's my second time going here & I was very happy with my experience. The service was absolutely amazing & so was the food. I also got a side of the Fries & a side of the Parker house rolls but unfortunately I did not take a picture. Everything was perfect & I look forward to many more visits.

Home lol the food is so good & different from other restaurants, I just love it & im so lucky I leave close by :).
One of my favorite dishes is the Jagerschnitzel, & their donuts are so deliciousss!
We attended this place for a birthday - it was a great experience except for the fact that our server -Tiffany- brought an extremely negative attitude. Unprompted she was curt & rude, when asked questions or details for the menu she would provide no detail & in fact talk down to any individual when asked. Although it was extremely busy & any person can understand the overwhelming aspect of a dinner rush - no other server had this attitude. For events like a birthday it can really put a negative tone on the experience. The food was good but with such a negative experience with staff I would never recommend or go here again.
It was my third time eating at this restaurant & the other two times were great. I haven't been back since 2024 but last night the schnitzel was so dry & I ordered fries with my meal that took so long to arrive that my schnitzel was basically finished by the time the fries arrived. & the fries were COLD 🥲. I would have said something but the waiter never checked on me. Anyway so sad because I really liked this place! The hostess was really nice & the interior is beautiful but overall I was pretty disappointed 😔.
