I know this pub from the first day when it started. & i remember the nachos menu that i considered the best from everywhere i ate. But recently, the food is not what it was before, the price is double, but the plate is completely different, & not in the good way. Very greasy (you add oil or is from that processed fondue cheese?) & only a little cheese & that one i think is fondue, i was shocked to see how bad it changed. I am very disappointed, unfortunately. Because i am a poor guy, i took it home & i remade the plate with real cheese & some salsa sauce. Still, very greasy. For 25$ plus tip plus tax plate. Is not worth it at all. The club chicken was ok, & the spicy chicken very poor, overfried chicken in a small sandwich & filled the plate with fries, was like we came there specialy only for fries. You guys need to know for 5$ on 10 pounds bag of potatoes we can make a lot home, without to spend on restos hundreds of dollars only for burned fries. Would be good something else in that plate or a bigger sandwich. At least the service was good. I hope the 12.5$ tip was ok.
A group of 10 went to see a band on Friday. Our food orders came an hour after we ordered. Leek & potato soup was sour & had to be sent back, one Corona 0% was skunk, all three bison burgers were dry. The quesadillas were actually good, & the fish tacos, while inconsistently distributed in the wrap, were ok. All in all, go for the fun pub atmosphere, definitely not for the food.
c'est bien mais la qualité de la nourriture est aléatoire. je crois que certain plats sont fait surplace & excélent, d'autre préparé a l'avance, & ok sans plus. mais critique principale viens du fish'n chips clairement pas a la hauteur, panure molle & trop cuite a la fois, un poisson pas asser cuit & un qui semble avoir passé la journee a la chaleur. j'ai passé une mauvaise nuit a faire passer ca. Ailes & nachos par contre 👍
J'aurais pu donner 4 ou 5 étoiles, c'est bon, l'endroit eat sympa, relativement correct niveau tarif. Mais quand vient le moment de payer & qu'on tente de pousser le client à laisser un pourboire minimum de 17% sur une facture incluant les taxes, soit quasiment du 20% sur le montant avant taxes, c'est totalement inacceptable ! Laisser du 15 sur du taxes incluses, c'est déjà équivalent à du 17%, mais forcer la main pour laisser plus c'est une arnaque déguisée. . Comportement dégueulasse.
Love the place & the service is fantastic. But recently I found the food is just terrible. Spicy chicken sandwich should be called over fried no spice chicken on a 4 day old baguette. Just dry & no taste. Fries were rock hard & cold.
Visited McKibbin's Pub on Saturday January 11th 2025 after a dinner out to continue celebrating my daughter's 25th Birthday! What a great night , we were a group of 10 & were lucky to be seated in front of the band & the dance floor. Service was excellent, drinks were great & well-priced! The band Jam Avenue was also fantastic & got all of us up dancing ...intergenerational group...but music we could all share ! They shouted out Birthday Wishes & dedicated a song as well ! Thank you for making this a special evening for my daughter ! We will be back soon !
Recently, I experienced an incident with a member of the staff at your establishment. Following this, I submitted my complaint & contacted the manager, Sean, who kindly took the time to provide me with an explanation & offer a sincere apology for what happened. This reflects the quality of the management & their commitment to customer satisfaction. It is crucial to note that the company's outstanding reputation should not be tarnished by the actions of a few individuals who could benefit from better training in customer service. I truly appreciate the attention given to this matter & hope no other customer has to go through a similar experience. In the meantime, I'd like to wish you happy holidays. I commend the team for being among the few that take the time to address & resolve such incidents. Thank you for your dedication

Been coming often very recently to just get away from all the annoying things in life. Atmosphère & staff are amazing & friendly. Food is great, the curry poutine is to die for & they need to make the pudding chomeur a regular menu item. It's absolutely ridiculous how good it is for dessert.
Believe it or not we had our wedding there & reception! The owner is more than accommodating & the managers & staff are always on their best performance! We are regulars there as well & you really can't go wrong with happy hour from 4-8 & their weekly menus that have amazing deals! Everything is bittersweet there! They have bands every night as well as a dj Friday & Saturdays!!! It's a great vibe for everyone!!!
