Ordered a medium-done burger & onion rings, compagnon ordered potato-leek soup & fish tacos. Not busy but service was slow, burger arrived well-done, soup was sour (I tasted it too) & we sent it back. They charged us for the soup just the same. Fish tacos were a bit dry. Second unsatisfying experience so I think I'll take my money & self-respect elsewhere from now on. Embers in Hudson consistently has amazingly tasty burgers.
A group of 10 went to see a band on Friday. Our food orders came an hour after we ordered. Leek & potato soup was sour & had to be sent back, one Corona 0% was skunk, all three bison burgers were dry. The quesadillas were actually good, & the fish tacos, while inconsistently distributed in the wrap, were ok. All in all, go for the fun pub atmosphere, definitely not for the food.
c'est bien mais la qualité de la nourriture est aléatoire. je crois que certain plats sont fait surplace & excélent, d'autre préparé a l'avance, & ok sans plus. mais critique principale viens du fish'n chips clairement pas a la hauteur, panure molle & trop cuite a la fois, un poisson pas asser cuit & un qui semble avoir passé la journee a la chaleur. j'ai passé une mauvaise nuit a faire passer ca. Ailes & nachos par contre 👍
Bien accueillis. Serveur courtois. Fish & chip bien chaud, délicieux & croustillant à point. Par contre on aurait aimé avoir un peu plus de temps entre nos drinks & l'assiette principale. Ils sont arrivés presque en même temps.
Quand nous voulons manger un bon fish & chip. Ça là que nous allons. Très bon rapport qualité / prix.
We were two in the early afternoon & ordered fish & chips, onion rings, & steak sandwich. All three were very good. Service was a bit slow, but that may have been the time of day.
Loved everything, food, ambiance, decor, service. Going back, best fish & chips!!!!
