The efficiency of service could've been better but it's also an Irish pub. The fish & chips was good. Nice & greasy & way too big of a portion. Pricing (to me) beats everything else. I'd pay twice this in Seattle for the same thing.Voir plus

I got absolutely trashed on fireball with apple cider coolers earlier today & ended up in McKibbin's.
I don't speak French so I ordered the shepherd's pie because it was easy to pronounce in my drunken stupor.
I wasn't expecting to be served the best shepherd's pie that I've ever eaten. It came with a side salad that was also incredible. But I could tell from the second that I laid eyes on that beautiful shepherd's pie that it was something special & boy oh boy was it ever special.
I already know I will go back to my primarily English speaking province craving a shepherd's pie that will bring me even a fraction of the joy that the one at McKibbins brought me.
I absolutely crushed that shepherd's pie & would happily do it time & time again should the opportunity present itself.
