I always enjoy walking down Saint Laurent Street here in Montreal. It's rustic & grungy & there's lots of eateries & pubs to choose from. Our server was by herself managing all the patrons in the floor. She did a great job & was very friendly. The pub itself was comfortable & cozy especially out on the patio deck. 2* pour le service reçue. Le reste était bon. Un lundi en soirée peu occupée. J'essaie de faire signe pendant 10 min au barman car la serveuse ne vient pas (il sont 3 en services avec un bar remplie au tier). C'est comme si la serveuse n'était volontairement pas venu pour pas nous servir les pintes au prix du happy hour. On attrape finalement sa collègue qui finit par aller la chercher. On demande un geste pour savoir si la table de 7 personnes peut encore avoir ses pintes au prix du happy hour (4 a 8 pour l'horaire) car ça faisait 10 min qu'on l'attendait & qu'il était seulement 1 min passé. Great pub atmosphere, wonderful service & delicious foods. Gross are great & highly recommend the mozzarella sticks & onion soup, so cheesy & filling. Terrific spot to watch a footie game (got to see Euro semis) work plenty of screens.Voir plus

Good fish & chips, great service & atmosphere. They usually have live music too & it's usually packed when there's a game on. The wings disappointed me but their Buffalo hot sauce itself was pretty good!Voir plus

I have complicated feelings about this bar. I've been here two times in two days, & former was horrible, but the latter was amazing LoL We were three in the first visir & only one of us order. Omg, it made them crazy. We asked for a water for the table, & they only brought a glass for my friend who ordered a beer. I mean, c'mon, such an non classy attitude. Anyways, the second one is good because I guess everyone ordered somethings to drink & eat. The atmosphere is good, prices are okay though.Voir plus

Great service. Our waitress was anglophone & was trying her best to speak french. It was great. We wanted to support her effort instead of stopping her by letting her know we were fluent in englisb. She was a lovely waitress. Food was great, kidney pie wasn't my favourite but the bangers & mash was really good. Great ambiance, & live music.Voir plus
I love this pub & the one on Bishop Street, but unfortunately, I do not recommend their grilled vegetable salad. None of the ingredients went well together, & for $22 (I added chicken), I'd go with the burger ! My friends got burgers, chicken wings & the poutine & they all really loved their food. The drinks were good, & the service was slow (understandable on a Friday evening). Will definitely come back!Voir plus
