Table service was extremely slow with ample staff so we went to the bar to ask for a drink which we were denied & told to ask our server. Lol what a joke. Got a shotty poured Guinness & decided it leave. Considering how well w e have been treated on our trip to Montreal I was extremely disappointed for a highly rated Irish pub . Nice terrace on the back side & the doorman was very friendly Guess they don't need our business. Sad. ☘?View more
Food is what you expect from an irish pub, fresh, simple & good.
Service was great.
Atmosphere was nice & friendly.
Often go there to watch soccer & it's i really like this puView more
Montréal is not a city known for its Irish pubs, which is a shame because there is a lot of Irish history running through these streets.
McKibbons is an exception to that reality. It has beautiful decor, friendly staff, & most importantly, DELICIOUS 👏& 👏affordable👏pub👏 food.
That's right folks, not only is this some of the best pub food you'll find in Montréal, the prices are beyond fair especially considering its downtown.
Check it out, get literally anything on the menu & I doubt you'll be disappointed.
Oh & a beautiful terrace in back during the warmer months.
Shoutout to Jasmine who served my partner & I on our last visit!View more
Great ambiance, food & choice of drinks. The best pub downtown, period.View more
An authentic pub perfect for having some pints of beer.View more
An Irish pub in a university town near McGill University. The atmosphere realy brings you to Irish… at the least the Irish I imagine.
The poutine is too salty, but great fires, so I will just order fries next time. They have limited selection of local beers, otherwise lots of differentdeinks to offer. I would like to see more local craft beers in the future!
It's also a bit pricey. One poutine plus one beer coated me $35 in total. This will make me think twice going again.View more
Loved the music, mostly songs we didn't hear for a long time from the 80s & 90s & the full vibe with live concert if you're into that. Great place where we can talk intimately with friends with some nice beer selections. It's easily a favorite Irish pub in Montreal.View more
Great Irish pub. Came on a random recommendation while looking for food, was expecting just fine, but was genuinely surprised by the quality. My partner had stew & I had a beef dip, & both were excellent. Nails the pub vibe without overdoing it, will be back.View more
You're here for great pub food, watching the hockey game or hang out at the bar. Do chat the fine servers up!View more
McKibbin's is an institution here in Montreal. I have been coming here for 20 years & have so many fond memories of nights out here. The atmosphere is lively & they often have live music. Even more remarkable is that they are one of the few places in the city that seems to offer happy hour specials. That seems like a rarity in 2024. I generally find the quality of the food to be consistent. They have your standard pub fare & for the most part it is usually satisfying. If you are courageous you can always try their famous Reaper wing challenge but be warned those are some very spicy wings. McKibbin's is a great option if you are looking for a pub in downtown Montreal. You're bound to have a great time while you're there.View more
I've had a great experience in that Pub, it was genuinely nice to get drinks in there, they have a variety of beers & the food menu has some cool options. Staff are friendly !View more
The most authentic Irish pub I've ever visited in North America! I sat at the bar & the service was great. It was super quiet when I visited on a Sunday afternoon but quickly picked up the later it got, with a big ghost tour group coming in around 4:30 pm. I stayed for two drinks & wanted to stay for more. Would 100% visit again. OVERVIEW When: Sunday Afternoon, December 2024 Ate: Nothing Drank: x 1 Guinness & x 1 Guinness & cider $$$: $25 with tip Pros: Atmosphere, service, decor Cons: NoneView more
Too crowded & too loud. I guess the way one pub should be :)View more
I know I am a bit biased, but as the pubs go, this is probably the best one out there. Food is always top notch. Exceptional ambiance, & always great service.View more
Great pub for live music & beers/drinks while in town. Will be back for sure.View more

Hip version of a timeless classic, the Irish Pub. Outstanding service & atmosphere.View more
Came in on a Saturday lunchtime to watch England vs Ireland. The staff managed to put it on the TV & had some great craic with the bartender. Shoutout to Emmett for great service & being gracious at the 2-0 defeat! Best Guiness I've had this side of the pond & decent pub food as well. Will definitely return if I'm ever back in Montreal!View more
Fun lively Irish pub. The atmosphere is very homey, bar top tables, & silly Irish joke signs everywhere. The food is good, we got the poutine, shepard's pie, & the bison burger. Service was great, they were quick & attentive. Great place for a hangout with friends or to watch the game.View more
Love a good pub, classic stop for us went we go downtown in this area. Guinness by the tap & chicken wings are the go to for us.View more
A main street pub that has something to keep you interested every night (lots of live music) . The food is above most in the area when comparing to other pub style establishments. I always enjoy the Buffalo burger & fully loaded nachos. They have daily specials that are always interesting. If they get busy be prepared to wait a little.View more
Très beau pub irlandais, la terrasse est mignonne & le service impeccable. Si j'ai envie d'une bière irlandaise c'est l'endroit où j'irai assurément.View more
The Guinness beef nachos are delicious here. I enjoy the pub's atmosphere & the vintage decorations.View more
View more
Really good Irish Pub, Food is good irish classics ambiance is nice as well with live music every night. Service can be a little slow when they are really busy but otherwise its good all around.View more
McKibbin's is a cozy little spot with a lot of character!! You can be sure that if the walls could talk, you would be regailed with many boisterous tales of pub goers past & present. The drink selection is okay, & the prices are consistent with the area. The staff were very friendly & attentive, which helps to keep the cozy character of the pub. On a hot day, you can enjoy a nice drink in a hidden little open-air patio in the back of the pub, or retire to the cozy interior & take in the sights & the rich character that surrounds you. I would most certainly come back here!View more
