Table service was extremely slow with ample staff so we went to the bar to ask for a drink which we were denied & told to ask our server. Lol what a joke. Got a shotty poured Guinness & decided it leave. Considering how well w e have been treated on our trip to Montreal I was extremely disappointed for a highly rated Irish pub . Nice terrace on the back side & the doorman was very friendly Guess they don't need our business. Sad. ☘?View more
This was the day after St. Patrick's day so there were lots of people downstairs in the bar having a great time. After some delicious food we went upstairs for the Standup show. Lots of great acts but the headliner was sublime - Sugar Sammy. What a pro! Not seen him before but might do again when he is next in the UK. My daughter got well roasted!View more
This sports bar is everything a true fan needs. They offer a comprehensive range of pay channels-at least all the ones I could think of-which ensures you won't miss a game. The service is both friendly & efficient, & the beer selection is excellent. I especially enjoyed their onion soup-a real standout dish. With its vibrant atmosphere, this is the place in Montreal to catch a game, or even two!View more
One of my favorite Bar in Montreal. Amazing top notch service & staffs are so friendly & helpful. If you are looking for a nice bar around Montreal downtown, this is your go to place.View more
It's good that there are multiple ambiences in the bar. I was on the 3rd floor & the music was weirdly mixed & very loud. I was with friends, so it was ok, but music could be better (at least in the 3rd)View more
Guinness from the Can. Bartender keeping pints behind the bar & topping em up for new orders. Not great.View more
I have been eating bison burgers & drinking Guinness at this bar for over 10 years. They have a great selection of both Irish beer & food. The live music & comedy shows are always a great experience. The only thing I recommend customers avoid are the chicken wings, it's not worth the free T-shirt.View more
You're here for great pub food, watching the hockey game or hang out at the bar. Do chat the fine servers up!View more
The most authentic Irish pub I've ever visited in North America! I sat at the bar & the service was great. It was super quiet when I visited on a Sunday afternoon but quickly picked up the later it got, with a big ghost tour group coming in around 4:30 pm. I stayed for two drinks & wanted to stay for more. Would 100% visit again. OVERVIEW When: Sunday Afternoon, December 2024 Ate: Nothing Drank: x 1 Guinness & x 1 Guinness & cider $$$: $25 with tip Pros: Atmosphere, service, decor Cons: NoneView more
Toujours parfait ! Meilleur bar de Montréal tout simplement !!View more
Just happened to be walking by around lunch & thought we would step in. I always love a bar that knows how to pour a proper Guinness.View more
A great bar with tasty bar food & good selection of beers. Very busy, which is always a good sign.View more
Fun lively Irish pub. The atmosphere is very homey, bar top tables, & silly Irish joke signs everywhere. The food is good, we got the poutine, shepard's pie, & the bison burger. Service was great, they were quick & attentive. Great place for a hangout with friends or to watch the game.View more
Darn good Shepard's pie! Great Irish bar down in the Montreal center. The atmosphere inside makes you feel right welcome & at home. Fish & Chips are also pretty good. Indoor seating, front street seating, & back terrace seating avaliable.View more
In Montreal for a week,& this bar is handy for my accommodation!Great Guinness,Pironi on tap, loved their Shepherds pie, looking forward to trying some more food on the menu.I can see myself coming here every night during my stay, the ladies serving are friendly & very efficient;plays great music,& the guy playing acoustic/harmonica tonight is very good, playing some real classics!View more
Quick bite bar food. Decent drink selection. Very loud.View more
The draught beer is awful - both pints I ordered were flat on arrival to the table so I switched to bottles. Pity as the bar is really nice, had good music & the servers are very friendly hence the four stars.View more
A classic student bar, with easy predictable food & drinks. It hasn't changed in decades & that's okay. The food is tasty, the drinks are well priced & the staff is friendly, you can't ask for much more in the are.View more
McKibbin's had the best service out of all the restaurants & pubs we went to in Montreal last week! The main floor was packed, so we found a table upstairs. The atmosphere was nice & it was only a little bit busy. Despite a crowded bar, the bartender was quick to take my order & did everything right. I took our pints back to our table & waited for the food. Our onion rings & french fries were delievered in no time & they were really nicely done. I would definitely recommend McKibbin's to anyone looking for a great beer spot with friends!View more
Decent Irish bar. I stopped in to watch the rugby & sat at the bar. The service was great & they had my next pint ready to go when I needed it.
I will definitely be back.View more
