The food was delicious! We tried both the chicken & lamb mandi, & enjoyed both plates. The meat was tender & flavorful, & the rice was perfectly seasoned. Definitely recommend it!
First time trying Yemeni food & I was very impressed. Delicious flavours & it felt fairly light & healthy. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that the menu contains several vegan mains.
The family that owns this place was also lovely - they were extremely friendly & made a point of asking for feedback on their vegan options. Needless to say they were fantastic. Would definitely recommend!
We stumbled upon this restaurant on our way to another one down the road... & thank the Gods for that. From the moment you enter, you feel cozy, warm, & in a family business. My dad used to live in Sana & Hodeiha, Yemen, & it threw him back to the magic of traditional Yemeni flavours. The food is authentic & truly delicious. You must come by! The staff is absolutely wonderful & so welcoming ❤?
I ordered Maasoub & Arika on uber eats & did not add honey or cream thinking it was for extra, & this is what i got! Such a shame this beautiful yemni dish came dry & bland
Visiting Montreal from Detroit, MI. Stopped in for brunch & was welcomed by the warm& friendly husband & wife who own the place. We ordered several items (breakfast sampler tray, fasooliya adeni, areeka & lamb liver), all of which were made fresh. The food not only an authentic taste, but a taste of home. We would have liked to return for dinner that night but wasn't possible. Highly recommend & would definitely return if we make it back to Montreal again.

The best Middle Eastern spot in Montreal & the only Yemeni restaurant in the city! They just launched their new brunch menu this weekend. The food is incredibly flavorful & comforting, with a true homemade touch, & the atmosphere is warm & welcoming. They were also very accommodating in preparing specific gluten-free options, which I really appreciated. I'll definitely be coming back!
J'ai découvert ce restaurant yéménite à Montréal & ce fut une expérience incroyable ! La bouffe était très très bonne, juste parfaite. C'était ma première fois, mais certainement pas la dernière - je pense déjà à ma prochaine visite.
Le service était écoeurant : un personnel super gentil, attentionné & vraiment soucieux des clients. Le Mandi, le Fahsa, le thé Adani,la soupe… tout était délicieux !
Un vrai voyage culinaire & mon nouveau coup de coeur à Montréal. Je recommande à 100 % à tous ceux qui veulent découvrir des saveurs authentiques & généreuses.
I went back recently, & unfortunately, the food wasn't as good as it used to be. The Mazhbi really lacked flavor . It's a real shame, especially since Mazhbi restaurants are hard to find.

Meilleurs restaurants yemenite . Superbe belle expérience. Un voyage lointain au pays de mes ancêtres. J ai tout adoré dans ce restaurant le lieu l accueil le service, le body language du personnel a ton écoute & surtout le confort & l art de la gastronomie. Une superbe adresse a montréal au pays du multiculturalisme.bravo . Let's go

Les samosas étaient superbes (coup de coeur pour celle au fromage), l'agneau mandi fondait littéralement dans la bouche, le riz était bien assaisonné, & que dire du kunafa! Le dessert parfait : de la pâte phylo croustillante, du fromage qui fait un peu couic couic, du sirop sucré... Un sans faute sur le plan culinaire
Service un peu long (surtout pour le dessert), mais bon rapport qualité-prix en général
The overall food was good but I have some complaints regarding the portion sizes. We got one lamb dish & one chicken & I believe the quantity of the meat was too little for the price. They gave us quite a bit of rice which was nice but it felt like they wanted us to fill up on that instead of striking a balance between the meat & rice.
I gave 4 stars because the food was tasty & service was great but still disappointed with the portions.
