My first Yemini restaurant & it's such a beautiful & cozy venue with great ethnic decor! We started off with wheat soup & Sambosa & then for the main meal my friends & I had the Mandi Lamb as well as Mandi Chicken :) The food was so delicious & the staff was also super kind & nice & always inquired about our food. Post meal we had the tea & ordered the Fata bil Mowz & we all truly loved it ! It was a perfect blend of unique bread with cream, dates, & cheese ! Cannot wait to come & try other items on the menu in this wonderful restaurant !
I stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant, & I'm so glad I did! From the moment I stepped in, the aroma of authentic Yemeni spices transported me to another world. The ambiance was cozy & inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal with friends or family. I had the Mazbi lamb & Mandi lamb, both were incredibly tender & packed with mouthwatering flavor that left me craving more with every bite. The portions were generous, ensuring no one leaves hungry. But what really stood out was the hospitality. The staff treated us like family, going above & beyond to ensure we had a memorable dining experience. They were knowledgeable about the menu & eager to recommend their favorites. Overall, this Yemeni restaurant exceeded all my expectations. If you're craving authentic Middle Yemeni cuisine served with warmth & hospitality, look no further. I can't wait to return & try more dishes from their delicious menu!

My recent dining experience at this restaurant was nothing short of exceptional! Coming all the way from Vancouver, I had the opportunity to savor dishes that I've been missing for years, as they're not readily available in my hometown. The staff truly made my visit memorable with their warmth, friendliness, & constant smiles. From the moment I stepped in, their helpfulness & attentiveness were evident, creating a welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for a delightful evening. Now, let's talk about the food - an absolute feast for the senses! I couldn't resist ordering the Mazbi, Masoob, & Adany Chai, & each dish surpassed my expectations. The flavors were rich, authentic, & transported me back to the essence of the cuisine I've been longing for. The Mazbi was perfectly cooked, the Masoob was a burst of delightful taste, & the Adany Chai provided a comforting conclusion to my meal. The ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall experience, creating a cozy & inviting space where I could savor every bite. Whether you're a local looking for an exquisite dining experience or a traveler wanting to explore the culinary treasures of the area, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit. In conclusion, my visit was a culinary journey that exceeded all expectations. I left with a satisfied palate, a happy heart, & a deep appreciation for the friendly staff & the delicious cuisine. Five stars without a doubt - I can't wait for my next visit!
Really loved the food we had here (wasn't a fan of the cheese sambosa but that is personal taste.) The lamb was amazing, & I highly recommend upgrading your rice with the cripsy onion, almonds & raisins. It's incredible.
The food was very fresh & delicious! The atmosphere was also very vibrant, comforting, & homely. We had the lamb & chicken mazbi, khobz, sambosas, & the lamb broth (my fiancee INHALED it so fast!). Everything was so flavourful!
We came to the restaurant as a large group of 14. The service was fantastic & super friendly. Our orders were taken efficiently while being mindful of how the bills were being split up. The appetizers were good, the soup broth was tasty. The main dishes were amazing. Very tasty & an adequate amount. The lamb was super tender & truly fall of the bone. We tried the desserts & they were different but still amazing. Overall, I really enjoyed the food & the friendliness was next level.
First time trying Yemeni food & we were not disappointed. We were a big group so we made a reservation & they accommodated our 12 ppl party. I tried their Marag soup made of simple lamb broth. Very simple broth yet layered with flavors of lamb marrow & other earthy spices. Perfect balance of flavors. I then tried the mixed samosas appetizers. I love that they are done in the traditional Arab way using filo pastry. Delicious! The main dishes for us were Chicken mogalgal & mandi lamb. So yummy & rich with spices. Ask for the rice to come with fried onions. You can skip the bread which tasted like naan. The two dishes were best eaten with their rice. We had their Fetta with dates. An interesting hearty dessert that I would love to have for breakfast. The atmosphere is very simple & practical. Not for special occasions but for a more casual crowd. The service was excellent. Very attentive & the food arrived fast even though we were a large group.
Greattt food! Especially great place for a small group where you're keen to share. All the meat was amazing. The lamb, chicken, & beef. The rice is very flavourful & the bread is deliciousss !! The cheese sambosas were also amazing. Great vegan options, too. The staff & soo nice & happy to give recommendations. We ordered a sharing platter of 3 meats & asked the waiter to pick, which worked out great. The kunafah dessert is a must-get!!! The dessert with cream & cheese on top was not as good. Great casual vibe. We called ahead & got a really nice window table reserved.
