Je n'avais jamais mangé de poutine mais quelle déception !!! Je ne sais pas si ça vient du restaurant ou du plat en lui-même mais je n'ai vraiment pas aimé. Le tofu était froid & les frites chaudes, je n'ai même pas réussi à terminer. Musique beaucoup trop forte pour un service du midi.View more

Loved the atmosphere & interior decor. The comfort classic menu is fantastic & really hits the spot. Best vegan poutine I've had! I loved the mac n cheese just wish it had a bit more seasoning. The mushroom buffalo wings on the mac was super yummy! The service was fast, friendly, & attentive. The portions were good & priced well. Would definitely come here again.View more

A fun & chill place to get some Americans type comfort food. Fried Oreos, right? It helps that it's all vegan. Although I'm not a fan of cheese curds, theirs was surprisingly good (if you like cheese curds) because they source it from a small place in Canada. Maynard's is a fantastic, period. But in particular it is an amazing place for people with food allergies & the "comfort" food is fantastic!! The vibe is great & so is the beverage list. Vegan & non vegans alike will love the food! Dedicated vegan restaurant that is ALSO PEANUT, TREE NUT & SESAME FREE!!!!! In fact, one of their cooks is allergic to peanuts, tree nuts & sesame! So they get it! The poutine was fantastic! (Although I'd skip the vegan mozz curds, but that's just me) My daughter & I both had different grilled tofu sandwiches - Nashville & the BBQ- that were fantastic. Honestly, everything there is great! They hand cut potatoes as needed. Which creates amazing fries!! Homemade soy ice cream milkshakes that were fantastic Staff was so fantastic. The waitress was great! The owner came out to chat too. Had a great conversation about the fun wines he curates for the menu.View more

Wish I could give 6 stars!!!! I really enjoyed everything about Maynard. The poutine had the best vegan cheese curds I have ever experienced. They were perfect. I've been craving pogos since going vegan & Maynard delivered. I wasn't sure about the burger bun but I really enjoy it. I will for sure visit next time I'm in town.View more

Superbe ambiance, top service & portions énormes. Le burger était impeccable. La poutine texmex au goût était superbe, il faut seulement s'habituer à la texture (crème glacée?) & la température (plus froid que le reste) du fauxmage. Sûrement un incontournable pour les véganes en quête de junkfood.View more

I wanted to treat some friends to a nice vegan meal, & I'm so glad I took them to Maynard's! As a vegetarian who eats a lot of cheese, I thought the vegan poutine was incredible. We also loved the wings & tofu sandwich, try it extra spicy if you're brave. 10/10.View more

Had high hopes for this place after seeing it featured on the Crave show Evolving Vegan. Unfortunately, when we arrived we found out their fridge had broke down the night before & they didn't have a lot of the menu items available. Just so happens to two dishes I was really looking forward to the pogo & the wings were off the menu as well as a few others. We settled on the Nashville sandwich, the Benedict & the fries & gravy. Fries & gravy were good & a great portion size. The Benedict was our least favourite. The Nashville was good & the best thing we had. The restaurant is small & seating is tight. Very hot inside. Bathroom was clean but poorly lit.View more

Unbeatable vegan poutine. The fries & the gravy taste exactly like the standard poutine, & while the cheese curds are softer than normal, their taste & texture are absolutely spot on. The portion sizes are also very satisfying. I strongly recommend grabbing a poutine & either eating at the restaurant or in the nearby carré Saint-Louis.View more
