After I accidentally made my family walk an extra few miles through the bitter cold to get to Maynard, our spirits were low. However.... the piping hot plates of vegan poutine revived us! Even my non-vegan mom & sister who were very skeptical became massive fans of Maynard's poutine. In particular, we loved the vegan crispy chicken on top of some of the poutine. 10/10 recommend!View more

Maynard's is a fantastic, period. But in particular it is an amazing place for people with food allergies & the "comfort" food is fantastic!! The vibe is great & so is the beverage list. Vegan & non vegans alike will love the food! Dedicated vegan restaurant that is ALSO PEANUT, TREE NUT & SESAME FREE!!!!! In fact, one of their cooks is allergic to peanuts, tree nuts & sesame! So they get it! The poutine was fantastic! (Although I'd skip the vegan mozz curds, but that's just me) My daughter & I both had different grilled tofu sandwiches - Nashville & the BBQ- that were fantastic. Honestly, everything there is great! They hand cut potatoes as needed. Which creates amazing fries!! Homemade soy ice cream milkshakes that were fantastic Staff was so fantastic. The waitress was great! The owner came out to chat too. Had a great conversation about the fun wines he curates for the menu.View more

Wish I could give 6 stars!!!! I really enjoyed everything about Maynard. The poutine had the best vegan cheese curds I have ever experienced. They were perfect. I've been craving pogos since going vegan & Maynard delivered. I wasn't sure about the burger bun but I really enjoy it. I will for sure visit next time I'm in town.View more
