We had an evening dine in on a weekday. It's very busy & the queue was long but we didn't mind waiting. After 1hour, we got a table & we realized the service & the food were below average. The atmosphere was great.Voir plus

I really enjoy this restaurant but can you please update your hours? I arrived with my family for lunch because according to your answering service you are open for lunch on the weekends but when we arrived the restaurant was closed. Only taking 1 star away because of this frustration.Voir plus

Food was ok for me but when dessert came the waitress asked if everything was OK I said the mango icecream did not taste like mango ( very artificial & orange in color) the waitress said to my family" why is she complaining you are the only one in 7 years to complain about the taste. She also said to my family member" why is she complaining". This is my beef with her, she had no right to give me back talk as a paying customer & not everyone has a taste pallet to tell the defference between fake artificial & artificial mango flavoring.Voir plus

First time going to this All you can eat buffet. Surprisingly, no mistakes in the orders. The waitress at the end that served us was very kind & professional. Food was good can't complain would go back. You can do walk ins but best to book a reservation on weekends to avoid long wait times.Voir plus

I really like this restaurant, but I think it is unfair that they consider children of three & five years of age to be adults when pricing their meals. My children do not eat sushi, so they should not be charged.Voir plus

Good experience for a sushi buffet, including dessert. Looking forward to be seated again. Menu covers everything from soup, salad to special ice cream. I am a huge fan of sushi, specifically all-you-can-eat restaurants. I've tried not only all of Montreal's best all-you-can-eat sushi places but also those in different cities, states, & countries. So, consider me a complete sushi junky! Matsuno is my absolute favorite sushi place in Montreal, & my family, friends & I have been customers for many years, never once being disappointed. If you are a sushi lover who knows the difference in quality at all-you-can-eat restaurants, live in Montreal, & have never heard of Matsuno, give it a shot, & you'll know what I'm talking about. I've never written a review in my life, but this place has it all-from taste to quality, easy tablet ordering, crazy fast service, & absolutely friendly staff! Highly recommended for families & events! Just remember that you need to reserve; otherwise, you're going to wait a lot. So reserve! They are busy!
