The sushi is always fresh, the menu is diverse with plenty of options beyond just rolls, & the service is impressively fast. The place is consistently clean, & the staff are friendly & welcoming. Highly recommend if you're looking for yummy sushi & a reliable experience every time!
It can take a while to get a table, especially during peak hours, but it's definitely worth the wait.View more

Honestly, amazing spot, fresh sushi, service is always amazing, my go-to spot for good all you cant eat sushi. I am only disappointed in one thing. We had an option of being served wafu sauce & they unfortunately removed the option. I offered to pay, they politely declined my offer. I would appreciate if you bring that option back, it truly is what makes the experience even better.

The food is really good - fresh, flavorful, & comes out quickly. You order everything through a tablet, which is convenient, but there's a 2-hour timer on it that makes the whole experience feel rushed. On top of that, staff came by several times to ask if we were done eating, which added pressure & made it hard to fully enjoy the meal. Great food overall, but the constant reminders & time limit took away from the experience.View more

We were greeted very warmly at the entrance with a smile & shown to a great table right by the window. It was a pleasure sitting there, watching the street while enjoying our dinner. The restaurant's interior might not have any extravagant details, but it's very understated, clean, & creates a cozy feeling. ✨
The staff was beyond praise - very friendly & attentive. The servers were happy to answer any questions we had about the menu, were polite, & created a pleasant atmosphere. 😊
The food was simply delicious! All the dishes we ordered were very tasty, & you could tell they were made with the freshest ingredients. 😋
Even though the restaurant might be a little drive if you're in Pointe-Claire or other parts of the West Island, I definitely recommend Matsuno Sushi Fusion if you're looking for tasty & fresh sushi in a calm & pleasant setting. Totally worth the trip! 👍

We called in advance to inquire if substitutions could be made & we're told yes, no problem. Once we got there, the place was beautiful, & we were seated quickly, although when trying to make said mentioned substitution, it was indeed a problem (no surface level tobiko). We were told we would have to order full rolls in order for them not to add tobiko on top .
The food itself was amazing & tasted fresh, no complaints there.
Had a hard time getting a waiter & often had to flag one down ourselves as the service request button on the tablet is defective or is being ignored.
Due to the fact we were given double portions for the rolls not topped with tobiko,we had a few left overs in the end & were then reprimanded like children by one of the wait staff even though we were okay with paying & taking whatever we hadn't been able to finish, which kind of soured the experience in the end.
Not sure if we would drive the distance to go back again.View more

As of Saturday December 7th 2024: Mon-Thurs Dinner $37.99+tax Fri-Sun Dinner $40.99+tax I would say arguably top 3 all you can eat sushi in all of Quebec. The food comes out fast, servers are efficient & there is a large selection. Appetizers: They have a variety of appetizers that come out fast. They are decent but I prefer to focus on the sushi. Sushi: All the sashimi selections are really fresh. The pro move is to go all in on the sashimi. The nigiri has the same quality of fish & they don't abuse the rice. They have a variety of habdrolls & maki. Like the nigiri, I am glad they don't abuse the amount of rice & each piece is small & comes in 4's so you get to try different rolls. The only downside to the maki rolls is some rolls they add way too much sauces. It makes the presentation look nice but overwhelms your taste buds. Dessert: They have sesame balls & this hot sweet bread with condensed milk to go along multiple ice cream flavors. Get there early because usually there is a wait list. You have to sign up at a tablet & they will text you when you're table is ready.View more

The service here is outstanding-always very quick. What sets Matsuno apart for me are the choices & the flavors. I've been to Matsuno several times & it never disappoints. Service is super fast, & the food is very fresh & delicious. Especially the avocado hosomaki, which is super creamy, I can eat 15 of them, that's how good it is. Lots of variety to choose from & you order using the tablet they provide & I like how there are pictures to see what the food will look like. It can be a bit tough to get a table during the evenings, so it's better to make a reservation or better yet, get there 10-15 mins before they open & wait in line. There is even dessert you can order, such as ice cream flavors like green tea, mango & chocolate. Even if you're not a fan of sushi, they do offer a large variety of non-sushi dishes. Sushi wasn't the greatest. It was overbearing with sauces & did not taste fresh. The regular makis that had no sauce didn't taste fresh or great. The sashimi was fresh though only thing that saved this experience. They also didn't have any steamed shrimp dumplings on the menu like most other places do. Overall the service was fast & efficient but the items on the menu that looked nice didn't taste great. Will not be returning back in the future.View more
