Makes me hesitate to come back
Always good but try to avoid going there in big days as saint Valentin or else they get busy & quality is not perfect as any other day! Staff friendly also
Very nice place for a sushi buffet.
Very busy but the service was outstanding.
Fresh food wide viraety definitely recommend.
Really good sushi & a decent price. Restaurant wasn't too busy when we went & the service was amazing. We had a great time & meal :)
My first time here. It was crazy busy (Mother's Day), but very enjoyable. The food was great & the service was fast & friendly.
Extremely busy restaurant despite being in a relatively low traffic area. I highly suggest you reserve a table in advance or show up when they open (though expect a line nonetheless).
As mentioned in other reviews, the service is excellent & you'll be shocked at how quickly the food comes out & the plates are picked up once empty. Watch out though that in such a busy atmosphere, you might get food or drinks that you never ordered, so be sure to take mental note to avoid any extra charges.
The food is pretty good, but it's still your standard fare when it comes to'all you can eat' style sushi restaurants that you can find across all of Montreal. I also appreciated the fact that restaurants like these have modernized the ordering process by going digital & not relying on pen & paper.
Edit 2: They have resumed lunch from 11:30am to 2:30pm.
Edit: No more lunch, only dinner. Weekend dinner is $40.99+tax & tip.
Went for Friday Lunch (16.99). Quick & great service despite being so busy. Unlike other ayce places that put extra salt in everything, matsuno didnt do that. My new fav ayce place to go to. Would definitely recommend.
We had an amazing dining experience at Matsuno Sushi Fusion! This all-you-can-eat restaurant offers a fantastic variety of sushi & other dishes, all made with fresh & high-quality ingredients. The menu is diverse, with plenty of options to suit every taste-from classic maki rolls to creative fusion specialties. The service was outstanding; the staff were friendly, attentive, & quick to deliver orders. I was impressed with how accurate & prompt they were, even during a busy dinner rush. The atmosphere was inviting & added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. Everything I tried was delicious, beautifully presented & packed with flavor. The price is reasonable for the quality & variety you get, making it a fantastic value. I highly recommend Matsuno Sushi Fusion for anyone looking for a top-notch all-you-can-eat sushi experience. We definitely be coming back!
Came here for a Christmas party from my work. 19 December, 2024. Pros: 1) Sushi & most of the food is good. 2) The Interior has a nice vibe & atmosphere. 3) The washrooms are clean & they maintain it good. 4) Most of employees are bilingual but they need to improve their English & French. 5) The service is decent at times but they need to improve on that. Cons: 1) They charge 15% if you are more than 6 people & you must pay them 15%. 2) Parking is quite difficult to find especially on busy times & days. 3) Some sushi & some things were a little salty & some sushi were breaking apart when you pick it up. 4) Service can be a little slow especially on busy night. 5) iPad keeps going back to the main page & you need an employee to reset the code. Conclusion: Matsuno is okay. I maybe don't want to comeback here because I want to try other sushi places & I know that there are better ones than this place. It's okay & maybe better for you the viewer. God Bless you & God Bless the people that keep this restaurant going but I'm indifferent on this restaurant. 2.5/5 stars for me.
Place is great although it can be quite busy during weekends. I would recommend reserving prior to your arrival. Order only what you can eat as every leftover will be charged 1$ 😀
We had an evening dine in on a weekday. It's very busy & the queue was long but we didn't mind waiting. After 1hour, we got a table & we realized the service & the food were below average. The atmosphere was great.
I am a huge fan of sushi, specifically all-you-can-eat restaurants. I've tried not only all of Montreal's best all-you-can-eat sushi places but also those in different cities, states, & countries. So, consider me a complete sushi junky! Matsuno is my absolute favorite sushi place in Montreal, & my family, friends & I have been customers for many years, never once being disappointed. If you are a sushi lover who knows the difference in quality at all-you-can-eat restaurants, live in Montreal, & have never heard of Matsuno, give it a shot, & you'll know what I'm talking about. I've never written a review in my life, but this place has it all-from taste to quality, easy tablet ordering, crazy fast service, & absolutely friendly staff! Highly recommended for families & events! Just remember that you need to reserve; otherwise, you're going to wait a lot. So reserve! They are busy! I also recommend going on weekends because all the options are available. Additionally, it's a great place for vegetarians with lots of options!
One of my top places for all you can eat sushi. Place is well organized & service is always fast no matter how busy it gets
An amazing place to taste an all you can eat sushi, a lot of tasteful items, always fresh, rather quick service, depends if they are really busy or just normal busy. You need a reservation, if you don't have one they can take you in but you may wait outside until thwy have place inside. We went there more than 10 times since our friends brought us there. A must try
We arrived as soon as it opened (4:30) since was the only reservation time we could get. The food was extremely fresh & service was very fast. It got busy very quick. The price was fair for the quality of service provided
I've been there a few times, & it's alright when there's no wait line. It's not really worth a long wait, unless you really want an all you can eat sushi place. They apparently aren't too busy on Wednesday after 7pm.
I mostly tried sushi, but also tried their fried calamari that was subpar. The tempura shrimps were fine.
Their chocolate ice cream is subpar, but vanilla & mango are fine.
