The matcha tasted like milk & it was a pastel green color. It came out way too quick, I don't believe they whisk effectively & put enough matcha powder for what they charge.

I had several of their desserts in the span of a week. The highlights for me were the Hojicha Tiramisu & the Yuzu Tartlette. I also loved the matcha soft serve. I would love to visit again.

My girlfriend is obsessed with matcha & every time we visit Montréal, we come here. The employees here are extremely kind & the service is perfect. Even the sign to locate bathrooms is adorable. 10/10 I definitely recommend
My favorite matcha place ever, the staff is so so so kind too! Everytime im in town i legit book my accommodation close to Zenmai so i can get it daily while im in Mtl. Thank you so much for this place, i hope you open one soon in my city🥹❤?❤?
Crème glacée savoureuse & crémeuse. La saveur du matcha est bien présente. Il s'agit d'une crème glacée qui n'est pas trop sucré donc vous pouvez la dégusté sans sentir que vous aurez le diabète après.

Love their drinks & desserts. Their zanmai signature ice cream has a lot of toppings inside such as azuki beans & matcha jelly. They're all pretty good & the combination is very fun to eat.
The place is very small & there aren't many seats.

The mixed matcha soft serve with matcha brownie bites is rich & creamy, yet perfectly balanced.
I also tried the iced matcha latte so good.
& the star of the show? The yuzu tartalette. Absolutely phenomenal, fresh, light, & pure buttery goodness. 🍋
My go-to place for matcha drinks & snacks in Montreal so far.
I usually order their iced matcha latte with vanilla syrup. The drink is well balanced, not too sweet even with added syrup. The amount of ice is just what I'm looking for, not too much, especially since I drink quite fast.
I am most impressed by their service. Even with a lineup from the door, the staff move through the orders quickly. Furthermore, the service is always friendly from the people serving to the people handing off the drinks. Overall, the atmosphere is very welcoming here!

Tried the decaf, but it kept me up all night with an upset stomach & anxiety. The restroom being closed for customers was also a bummer. Not my best experience here, I'll pass next time. But hope other have a better luck!

Le tout était savoureux & équilibré (moins sucré qu'ailleurs).

Si j'adore le matcha ? Je réponds oui & ce petit endroit sur Mackay à quelques pas de l'Université Concordia sera satisfaire votre gourmandise. Il y a peu de place donc il n'y allez pas à plus de 4. En solitaire ou en compagnie, j'ai goûté au mochi au matcha, au scone matcha & canneberges & un latte hojicha.C'était très bon 😋 En plus, on vous accueille en Japonais 🇯🇵 ce qui donne un sentiment d'être pendant un instant d'être en île nippone.
