Ordered The Zanmai (matcha shave ice) & Zanmai Signature (matcha parfait). Very friendly staff, quick service, & INCREDIBLY TASTY!!!!!! High quality matcha flavour & vibrant colour. Cute interior too.

So good we went here everyday during our trip to Montreal. Highly, highly recommend!!!!

(Note, during the evening the line can get pretty long but it goes by fast.)

I am never disappointed when I come here. My favourites are the yuzu cheesecake & matcha soft serve & now I'll be adding the yuzu matcha latte to that list! So good.

I really loved the matcha desserts at Matcha Zanmai! Every treat I tried (I ordered six!) was full of rich, authentic matcha flavor & just the right amount of sweetness. The desserts looked beautiful & tasted fresh soft & light without being too heavy or overly sweet.

Even though I ordered quite a bit, the service was surprisingly quick, which I really appreciated. The staff seemed to know their stuff & handled the busy vibe well. They were polite, though it was a bit hectic in there.

One thing to keep in mind is that seating is pretty limited, so it can get crowded during busy times. If you want a quieter experience, try to go during off-peak hours.

Overall, if you're a matcha fan like me, Matcha Zanmai is definitely worth a visit. Great desserts, good service, & a cozy little spot. I'll be back for sure!

I recently tried their matcha & matcha ice cream, & I must say-both were absolutely delightful! The matcha had a rich, authentic flavor that really stood out, & the ice cream was smooth, creamy, & perfectly balanced-not too sweet, just right. I also gave their strawberry matcha a try. While it wasn't quite as impressive as the others, it was still enjoyable & had a refreshing twist. Overall, a great experience for matcha lovers!

To all Matcha lovers this is a must visit when in Montreal. The employee that helped us was so welcoming & kind - she walked us through the entire menu☺? If'fast casual matcha' was a category, this place would fall within it

Koko & Orlando made our day. Super polite & humble but most importantly they suggested us some good stuff. Really happy to experience authentic Matcha Icecream. If you're a genuine lover, don't get the vanilla one & just get pure matcha to get authentic taste. 🍵
