Anil Chauhan - Co-propriétaire et chef
Au cours des 30 dernières années, le chef Anil a concocté des plats créatifs et délicieux de toute l'Inde. Né et élevé à Delhi, en Inde, Anil a obtenu son diplôme de l'école culinaire. Il a travaillé comme chef dans des hôtels 5 étoiles d'élite tels que l'Oberoi’s, le Park Royal et le Park Hotel à Delhi. Il a également ouvert un restaurant indien à Moscou, en Russie, en 1997. En 2006, il a participé au LE CORDON BLEU - CULINARY CUP qui s'est tenu à New Delhi. Plus tard dans l'année 2006, Anil a eu l'occasion de venir à Montréal, au Canada, pour travailler pour un restaurant indien gastronomique. Maintenant, Anil est tout enthousiasmé par cette nouvelle entreprise visant à satisfaire les Montréalais et à tester leurs papilles gustatives avec la nourriture de partout en Inde.

The female owner is really nice & polite. Her service is good. But the man who answers the phone is very impolite. I was trying to clear up the confusion about the vindaloo not being served with rice, he just hung up the phone mid-sentence. Rude customer service. I was not asking for free food. Last time i will be coming back. He shouldn't be answering the phone with that attitude. He just made the restaurant to lose two customers.Voir plus

My friends & I went to Masala Art last Saturday wanting to try some Indian food not knowing about there brunch special menu. We ended up trying it & loving it. The food was delicious especialy the bhatura & chole kulche.Voir plus
We had heard a lot about this restaurant & finally gave it a try. Definitely worth the hype. Special recommendation for Delhi chaat (you will miss India a little less after having this chaat platter) We also enjoyed Paneer tikka masala & Dal makhani. We tried the brunch special at Masala art & the food was absolutely amazing. The chana bhatura was the best I had & it was so soft. it came with great side dishes too. THE masala dosa & chicken dosa were delicious & crispy . The samber on the side was so savory as well. We will definitely cone back for more !Voir plus

While in town on business (with my wife) - we came across this little hidden gem of a restaurant. The name "Masala Art" is no mistake, they make authentic Indian cuisine an'art'!!! unsure of what the various dishes were, we asked the wait staff to make suggestions. We couldn't be more pleased! The tastes, & textures of this food was beyond anything we have ever had at ANY of the much larger chains in the Toronto area!! We purposefully chose more food than we could eat in one sitting - to be sure we could try extra dishes, & to make sure we had leftovers for the next day! It was an absolute delight, & the staff were Great! Thank you for an absolutely fantastic gastric experience! We will undoubtedly be eating here again - next time we come to Mtl!!Voir plus

Heard of this place from word of mouth & thoroughly enjoyed the food! We had ordered the Delhi platter, chicken tikka & chicken seekh kabob as appetizers for 5 individuals & it was plenty. The flavor & spice of the seekh kabob was very nice along with the chutney that they serve with it. The butter chicken & lamb vindaloo were great as well. The lamb vindaloo was unique & unlike any other lamb vindaloo we've had. It was a bit sweet for our liking so would definitely recommend requesting it to be spicy next time. I have a number of deliveries from Indian restaurants & each time there was always a dish that disappointed, but not so with Masala Art. The food was delivered with the mild heat I ordered & was thoroughly delicious. Large portions & well packaged. With a wide food range I'm looking forward to trying a wide selection over time. Me & my fiance organized our engagement lunch here. The staff was really friendly & accommodated all of our needs. They even let us stay through their afternoon break. We were ~25 people & everyone enjoyed it. Food was served quickly & it was delicious.Voir plus
The staff are amazing & kind. The food is excellent especially the Naan. It feels like we are in India. Most restaurants here they make Naan very thick but Masala Art makes it perfect. We loved the experience.Voir plus
