*edit: unfortunately like many other good restaurants the food has changed here. Not sure if it's new chefs but the food doesn't even taste like Greek food anymore. Feels salty & tastes like heavily doused in Montreal steak spice & other strange flavors. The pitas aren't even wrapped properly, like someone who never made a pita before. It's sad because the service staff is so nice & it's a staple in the community. Hopefully it will get better again like to used to be.
Always the the best chicken/porc souvlaki & calamari. When most restaurants are giving smaller portions, lesser quality, Marvens doesn't change their portions, freshness & flavors! The service is always great at takeout . Keep it up!
Very tasty food. Even with the higher prices it's still ok because you're getting real food!
They need to wrap their pitas with wax paper or something. It's a wet mess! One layer of wrapping is not enough for takeout. But still yummy!
Been eating here for years...Porc souvlaki pita or stick is great! Big portion, good flavour & lean but soft. Calamari is great when it's hot & crispy & the oil doesn't taste fishy... same goes for the fries. Chicken gyro is very good too. The lamb gyro needs improvement...they need to slice it a lot thinner & it should be leaner. Overall would definitely recommend.
I have been going to this place for more than 15 years, one of the best rib steaks in town. Awesome service.
The staff is great & the food too i highly recommend this place even the salad is amazing lol
Réputation surfaite,un riz dégoûtant ( le serveur se dit au courant mais il s le servent quand même) portion de frites très petite ( c est l inflation selon le même serveur ) .la qualité fait partie sûrement aussi de l inflation résumé a oublié

You can't go wrong with the food at Marven's! The portion of the food is huge! The service is fast & efficient! Highly recommend the lamb

Always a good time when you come to Marven's. Family from the states came for a visit & i had no choice to bring them to Marven's! Always good food & ambience
Love the place for its steak & calamari. It's the best place in terms of quantity, quality, service & prices, which makes it a pearl nowadays! It feels cozy, almost like at a family dinner atmosphere, with everyone sitting close, speaking loudly, it's unpretentious, but food is served quickly & is excellent, waiters are very friendly. Expect a lineup if you go on the weekends in the evening (but totally worth the wait) & bring cash as they don't take any cards. There is an ATM machine however.

Fantastic food, lively atmosphere without being too noisy, amazing service. We had the lamb chops, calamari, & a small Greek salad. I'm already looking forward to our next visit!
Calamars portion gigantesque & très bon.. steak & côtelettes d'agneaux miam... je recommande.. fils d'attente assuré c'est le côté le plus plate mais un bon signe...
