Bien que l'enthousiasme soit majoritaire, la fréquentation peut générer des files d'attente, surtout le week-end, et l'établissement fonctionne en grande partie en espèces avec un distributeur sur place; ce n'est pas idéal pour tous, et quelques critiques signalent des améliorations possibles au niveau de l'organisation en période d'affluence ou du confort. My parents used to bring there when i was a kid. Ever since thats my spot for steak cant go wrong! All the servers are hella nice! Highly recommended!!!
My family's go-to to celebrate our birthdays! Since last year we've been going go Marven's to celebrate all our birthdays. We usually get the lamb chops, calamari, & the steak plate. I've been going for years (more than a decade) & the quality remains the same & the service is great! The staff are super friendly.
Prix, nourriture, calmars, staff, tout est excellllllent! Un incontournable restaurant🤤Seul point à ameliorer selon moi c'est l'espace un peu trop restreint.
Long wait to be seated but completely worth it. The souvlaki is cooked to perfection & spiced beautifully (pork & chicken). We saw everyone ordering the calamari starter (which is quite literally a mountain of calamari on a plate) so we ordered as well & found out why (spoiler alert: tasty!). & the tzatziki! It's like ambrosia! I could eat it with anything & everything; it's that good. Finally, the wait staff were timely, attentive, & kind despite the full house.

Average pork souvlaki, meat was overcooked & dry, rice was just ok, the salad came with no dressing. The calamari was good but overall too expensive for the quality
Holy, this place was very fast! The service was great, food came out quick. It's been a few years since I last came here -- the atmosphere is nice with the new updates. We ordered the calamari plate, the baby back ribs & the steak. The salad to start with was very filling we had the greek salad each. The steak with medium rare was cooked to perfection & the ribs were pretty good. In my opinion the rice was a bit bland & they give a lot of fries. Very filling & worth if you're looking for quantity & quality food.
Is been around for long therefore it is good, BUT the seating is way too crowded & gets very loud ( not able to hold a conversation). Keep in mind: no reservations, & CASH only !
One of the best Greek restaurants in Montreal! Contrary to most of Greek restaurants in Montreal, their price is not high, the portions are really generous, their staff are so attentive & fast, & the quality of food is amazing! I have visited this place multiple times, & each time I really enjoyed my experience!
I guess I have been living under a rock if I've never heard of Marven's! A hidden gem because the value is unbeatable. Huge portions & tasty. You have to try the calamari, crispy on the outside & tender in the inside. Every employee was so courteous & the one waiter was very hospitable. I am definitely coming back & telling everyone I know about this place. ***Only downside is that it's a cash only establishment.***
Some weird recipes of traditional Greek food. No musaka, no Ouzo, no Metaxa, no Mythos, ... Great waiters, prices are really reasonable, great atmosphere, not fully crowded, fast service, tasty food...
