Marven's est une institution de Parc-Extension pour une cuisine grecque généreuse et authentique, dans une ambiance chaleureuse qui rappelle une taverne familiale. Les calamars frits, les côtelettes d'agneau et le rib steak reviennent comme des favoris, accompagnés de salades et d'accompagnements, avec des portions généreuses et des sauces maison très appréciées. Le service est rapide, amical et efficace, même lorsque le lieu est très fréquenté, et l'atmosphère reste conviviale et accueillante. Calamars portion gigantesque & très bon.. steak & côtelettes d'agneaux miam... je recommande.. fils d'attente assuré c'est le côté le plus plate mais un bon signe...
It was my first time eating Greek food, & it was a pleasant surprise. Their food is delicious, all the dishes were very tasty & well served. In fact, we could only eat the salad & the fried calamari, one of the dishes we took home, as we didn't have any room in our stomachs. The service is fast, efficient, & very good. Payment must be made in cash, so keep that in mind if you go there. They have an ATM available on site, in case you need it. It was a great experience & I will definitely go back there & recommend the place.
Toujours aussi bon , comme partout ailleurs, ils ont enlevé des éléments, comme les piments dans la salade grecque, rien de majeur mais j aimais bien , bon rapport qualité prix. Je vais continué à le recommander.

I think this restaurant has gone downhill. I also prefer the pre Reno woodpanel 60s vibe. Music was too loud, but that could be a personal preference. one of the waiters (not ours) was talking about personal things with other waiters using vulgar language which was pretty low class (I wouldn't mind that if it was some sort of hole in the wall greasy spoon but I'm spending a hundred bucks on dinner I want a little bit of professionalism ). The Caesar salad was pretty pathetic (maybe a 2 on 10) & they gave us the main meal a minute or two after serving the salad (which would have been an issue if we had wanted to finish the salad but in this case it wasn't). I would not recommend the loose gyro plate, i found the cut to be too thick but that can be a personal preference. The lamb chops looked good but passed on that when tzatziki was an $8 add-on. In retrospect I probably should have splurged for the lamb chops & maybe this would have given a better experience.
The food is delicious really delicious & the portions are huge, we had calamari 😋as entire & steak the flavour was amazing & chicken gyros so tasty ,& the staff were so friendly & our waiter Peter was so kind & sweetheart, will come back for sure ♥️♥️ If you love Greek food I highly recommend it 👍👍

Le meilleur restaurant grec à Montréal. Je suis même prêt à dire "dans la grande région de Montréal". La nourriture est délicieuse & le service est familial & chaleureux. N'oubliez pas de demander la sauce maison, elle va avec tout! Je recommande.

We were for lunch but after the lunch rush! Totally recommended for the time & the food. Attn: CASH only. Food: flavors are on point, family meal flavors done right. Yes, price is high but portions are huge. We have to take some leftovers to-go. Calamari is a must but also huge so sharing among 2 or 3 friends is better. Steaks are also humongous, prepare your stomach well in advance. Sauce: traditional sweet & tomato-ey sauce on the table (see pics) are a must with calamari. Drink: Fix beer is a nice larger that would cut the greasiness from food. Vibe: small, cozy, wooden cottage vibe. Very familial & local. Super attentive waiters. Dine there & walk to parc Jarry for digestion on a nice sunny day will complete your afternoon with relaxation.

Attentive service & amazing food. The place is pretty small for how popular they are, so expect at least a 20 minute wait during peak hours. The lamb chops are flavorful & tender. Calamari is just lightly breaded & crispy & fresh. Greek salad comes with a block of feta cheese & not just feta crumbles. Highly recommend their pork gyro pita. Very large portion we had so much leftover to bring home.
It was really really yummy food!!!! :) It was such a delightful experience. The lamb chops were absolutely delicious. Kind of wished I ordered 10 pieces instead of 5. The calamaris were extremely soft & delicious & such a big portion!! We really the experience. Highly recommend!!!!
One of the best Greek restaurants in the heart of Montreal. Best souvlaki pita wrap! Highly recommend their lamb & chicken souvlaki followed by their fried calamari.
My parents used to bring there when i was a kid. Ever since thats my spot for steak cant go wrong! All the servers are hella nice! Highly recommended!!!
