This hidden gem served up a perfect Lebanese breakfast, letting me taste a bit of everything. I absolutely loved it the food was great & the staff was very nice!! I highly recommend it! 10/10!!
I'd like to share my honest experience with breakfast at this place. Service-wise, it was good. We were welcomed politely, though seating was limited due to some guests having reservations. Despite that, they kindly asked us to wait a little while they cleaned a table for us. Shortly after, a gentleman greeted us, & we were served a delicious cup of tea. They also brought out a plate of vegetables & olives. Surprisingly, the green olives were tasty, even though I typically don't like green olives-they were sweet, not bitter. I ordered Fatteh, a dish of foul, & a cheese Manoushe. I was eagerly anticipating the Fatteh, as I had been craving it, but unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. It lacked salt & had a strange taste, possibly due to the chickpea water. The foul also needed more lemon & salt, which I had to add myself. On the bright side, the Manoushe was large & delicious. One downside that I dislike not just here but at most Arab restaurants is that they don't accept credit or debit cards. They have an ATM inside the restaurant to withdraw cash, which I find inconvenient. So, make sure to bring cash if you plan to have breakfast there. The prices also seem a bit high-$12 for a Manoushe is overpriced. I hope this review helps others who are considering visiting this restaurant!
Authentic lebanese breakfast, very delicious, welcoming atmosphere. Give it a try, & you won't regret it.
It is an amazing place to have Syrian Lebanese breakfast. It is a family business. They are so nice & generous.
What a delightful authentic Lebanese breakfast. As close to real authentic home-cooked Lebanese (like when my best friend's mom cooks for us) Family run & such a warm vibe & atmosphere. They are passionate about good service & they clearly care about their customers' experience. I know dinner food but not breakfast & Rajhat was so kind & excited to teach us. Definitely recommend for foodies. Especially the Fateh Matthew! The simple decor is well superseded by the food quality & warm customer service. Reading the 1-star reviews.. it can only be competitors who can't provide such high quality food & service. It is what it is I guess. A Lebanese pearl hidden in Chomedy! Tell Ahmed I sent you!
Best restaurant for authentic Middle Eastern breakfast. You are immediately greeted with tea & a big smile, a true home-like atmosphere. Owner & his family are very welcoming & kind. The food is always fresh & delicious & portions are very generous. Definitely hits the spot!
Excellent food. Excellent service. Comfort food at it's best... Best Middle Eastern breakfast in town
Fire. One of the best breakfasts I've had in Montreal. The Fatteh Matthew was a bowl of creamy garlicky crispy chickpea heaven (not pictured)
This is the place to visit if you're looking for authentic Lebanese breakfast. Family owned & operated, you will feel right at home with their welcoming energy & service.
It was my first time trying Lebanese breakfast food. The woman at the counter very kindly explained the best options for first timers. I got the fetteh which was absolutely delicious! All vegetarian & very fresh. I definitely recommend this for anyone wanting Lebanese but into trying something other than shish taouk/ tabouleh / potatoes Friendly, family run restaurant They only accept cash, only caveat.
Beautiful place & the food is amazing, the service is extremely friendly & you really feel at home in lebanon. Its a must if you like lebanese real breakfast & like feeling at home. ( PS: they only take cash )
We had breakfast & ordered different plates - Everything was delicious, the service was great.
Marouch offers a delightful Arabic breakfast experience with flavors that transport you. The tantalizing dishes are a feast for the taste buds. However, the inconvenience arises as they only accept cash, necessitating a visit to their in-store ATM, albeit with a fee. Despite this hiccup, the savory dishes make it a worthwhile stop for breakfast enthusiasts.
Going to eat here feels like home. Quick service we love to have breakfast & brunch here. The Fatteh is unbelievable i love it so much.
