Really loved the Marci Café & will be back for sure. The staff was incredibly nice & attentive & the food was great (especially the pizza)! The place was pretty busy, so I definitely suggest making a reservation, but everything came quickly despite how busy they were.
Prix exorbitants pour ce qu'il y a dans l'assiette. La pizza est faible en garniture, manque de saveur & de générosité. La salade César n'est ni plus ni moins une salade verte avec 3 copeaux des parmesans.

Everything was very, very good - the service was excellent, & the portions were satisfying, which is a refreshing change compared to so many places in Montreal where meals are becoming smaller & prices outrageously high.
I only wish they had bigger tables so we could order even more food & bring more friends along! I genuinely recommend this place to everyone. If you're driving, just be aware that parking in the area can be a bit tricky, so try to arrive a little early.

Nice restaurant but food seemed pretty average. For context came here on a Sunday evening party of 4, we ordered a few dishes to share & had pretty high expectations given all the hype from social media.
For the food we ordered 2 dishes of gnocchi, a dish of pasta, the countach pizza & the duck salad. Amongst these dishes, the highlight would be the gnocchi a la recotta. While the other dishes seemed a bit underwhelming in comparison, especially with the hype around the secret menu.
As for the service, we found that the consistency of receiving the food was kind of odd, we had received the pasta dishes first before the salad, & then mid way through the service we were waiting on the other dishes, when we had asked to received everything in the same time.
As for the atmosphere, it's a nice restaurant, with good lighting & great for all occasions.
Overall, given the area & the many amazing restaurants nearby, I would have recommend those over Marci. Especially with all the hype around this restaurant, I felt a bit underwhelmed with this experience.

First things first, we ordered 6 things & all six dishes were amazing. We will definitely be back. I would've given it a 5 star, but we were seated at this tiny little high chair table, the kind where your feet are dangling & it was super uncomfortable. The ambiance of the restaurant is great, music is kinda terrible but it's quiet so you don't notice it, & if I'm being honest, I think my experience still would've been 10/10 if my feet were just touching the ground. It sounds like I'm being a Karen but my boyfriend's a big guy, & we order a lot of food. If you're here for two hours your feet are numb by the second hour. It wasn't the right seating choice for us, but frankly I don't think anyone should have to sit at this kind of table, it was almost enough for us to leave.
With that being said, we were served by Marie, she was so sweet & helpful, she helped us find a delicious bottle of bubbles, & recommended some great dishes. She's half the reason we stayed, the food was the other, & I'm so glad we did. She promised us there would be a note in our file that would promise we'd never sit at those tables again, & she understood why it was uncomfy for us. I'm not usually a complainer I promise !!! Wonderful wine selection, & their cocktails look great, I'll try one next time. Also we ordered a lot, like we were very full, & the portions are big, & our bill only came out to 200$. 6 dishes, & a bottle of bubbles. Wow.
Here's what you need to order, the hamachi, delicious. The broccoli, the reviews are right, it's a must have. The duck confit salad, fresh, delicious crisp duck on top. The meatballs, not my personal favourite but my boyfriend insists they're a must. The secret menu pepperoni pizza, crisp, cheesy & wonderful, ask for their spicy sauce on the side. OH!!! & how can I forget the bananacotta dessert, holy moly!!! Sooooo delicious. Not heavy at all, it's nice & light & tasted exactly like when you lick the spoon after you're done making banana bread. The slightly salty, sweet & crispy biscoff on top was a wonderful touch. You have to order it.
So moral of the story, if you get stuck at that shitty seat because they're very booked, just stay at the shitty table & enjoy the delicious food you're about to eat, & ask to be seated in Marie's section.
Un vrai bijou d'adresse italienne ! Les pizzas sont tout simplement sublimes - une pâte croustillante, des garnitures savoureuses, le tout cuit à la perfection. À se jeter à terre ! Les portions sont généreuses, les prix très accessibles, & la carte des vins nature est à découvrir absolument. Un grand merci à notre serveur, pour son accueil chaleureux & son service attentionné - juste ce qu'il faut pour passer un moment parfait. Une belle expérience du début à la fin. On reviendra, c'est sûr !
Super soirée au nouveau restaurant Marci sur St-Hubert qui est promis à un bel avenir, premier gros coup de coeur de 2025.
Le sashimi d'hamachi est un plat fin & recherché, le brocoli a conquis toute la table & a fait l'unanimité, le genre qui reconverti à ce légume mal-aimé mais ici plutôt lové.
Les calmars frits étaient bien exécutés mais nous ont laissé indifférent. La soirée fut relancée avec les délicieuses boulettes de boeuf & porc à la ricotta, sauce marinara. En clôture de ce feu roulant de pas-mal-tout-ce-qui-avait-sur-le-menu, le poulet parmagiana & une des meilleures pizza de Montréal avec sa fine croûte qu'on entend craqué.
Superbe carte de vin, prix raisonnable pour la qualité & service impeccable ont enchanté tout le groupe qui s'est promis d'en remettre.
Fortement recommandé.

Pizza & Caesar salad were good. Beyond awful cocktail- like worst martini I ever tasted & no other regular bar rail drink options available. Service was meh (they stuck us as the upstairs bar which was low key abandoned). Broccoli was also underwhelming. Don't feel the need to return here unless I'm in the neighborhood & really craving pizza.

The ambiance is my favourite part of this place! Cozy wood panelling & lots of candles. The pizza was delicious-the menu had some interesting options, & the crust had a nice crisp to it.
Stars are only docked because the service was painfully slow, even though it was not busy. Took foreverrrrr between each step of ordering drinks/ordering food/receiving food/getting the bill/paying.
Pizza is incredible ! Best pizza I've had in Montreal hands down !
Service was great as well as the waitress advised us to get less pizzas first since the pizzas were big & she was right !
Lastly, it was so cozy, with different areas in the restaurant which made it feel almost like we had a VIP section

What an experience, very cute restaurant not too far away from downtown Montreal. First & foremost the fried broccoli appetizer was one of the most delicious dishes I've ever eaten & an absolute MUST. The pizza was delicious too, the chicken parm pretty good, & the desserts amazing. The broccoli & desserts stand out to me as parts of the meal I'd want single handily go back to the restaurant for they were that good.
Also they had the coolest candles ever, check the photos out I really liked them personally.

Wow! The broccoli was the star of the show. Never thought I'd say that sentence but it's true. Crunchy & delicious batter on the outside with a soft inside. Definitely the best broccoli I have ever had & I love broccoli. The pizza was amazing. Chicken parm was okay loved the sauce was great but the actual chicken wasn't to my liking. The banana dessert is also great. Service is good, you feel very well attended to at all points in the meal. One thing to note is that it is a small place which adds to the ambiance but you will get seated at any spot in the restaurant, including the bar which we ended up at. Can't wait to be back
I've been to Marci twice & plan on going there again very soon. I should maybe try something else than the caesar salad next time, but I can't help it, this is probably the best one I've ever tasted. From the caesar anchovy sauce to the freshness of the lettuce, & most importantly the little CROUTONS BITS??? They make every bite you take a crunchy, savoury dream. Kudos to whoever thought about that.
The pizza is amazing, I always take the simplest one (tomato pie) & it's delicious. Great char on the crust & very tasty tomato sauce.
As for the desserts… God, this Bananacotta is one of the best thing I've eaten 🥹 Do not miss out on this one! A little disappointed about the Budino au chocolat tho ; there used to be a generous dose of pistachio cream with sea salt on top. Last week, it wasn't there… maybe it was only for a while? If not, please, put it back!!! 🙏🏼😭🩷
Nous y sommes allés un vendredi soir, avec réservation. Au menu le fameux brocoli au four, un bijou! La pizza tomate était bien, le poulet parmesan aussi. Beaucoup d'ail dans la salade césar mais très bon! Bémol : nous avons été placés dans la section bar à l'entrée, pas très évident de mettre nos manteau sur la paterre au mur car déjà bien rempli d'autres manteaux. Les tabourets ne sont pas très confortables (pas de dossier), comme nous ne buvons pas d'alcool on aurait préféré être installés à une table de format régulier avec chaises, car les tables dans le bar sont très petites. Service chaleureux, tout comme l'ambiance.
First time dinning at this restaurant, the food was delicious & fresh. The pizza was one of the best I've had in Montreal, thin crispy crust with fresh ingredients. The staff & service was on point, I would definitely recommend this spot!
