Ma deuxième visite au Marci, & certainement pas la dernière.
Nous avons commencé avec les huîtres en entrée : elles étaient très fraîches & délicieuses. Ensuite, nous avons partagé une pizza & les papardelles, & tout était excellent. Pour terminer, nous avons pris la ganache au chocolat & pistaches - un vrai coup de coeur.
Le rapport qualité-prix est aussi très bon. Pour environ 200 $ pour deux personnes (pourboire inclus), nous avons eu : 2 verres de vin, un martini, une entrée, deux plats, un dessert & un cappuccino.
Le vin était très bon, le service impeccable & l'ambiance parfaitement réussie : une musique présente, mais juste assez discrète pour bien profiter du moment.
Nous y sommes allés pour un date night, mais c'est aussi un endroit parfait pour une première date, un anniversaire ou une soirée entre amis.
J'y retournerai sans hésiter !

Amazing spot. We tried it for the first time & will absolutely becoming back. Mostly writing this to give recognition to the fast service, we had appetizer main & a dessert all within an hour, & the resto was busy. We sat at the cute two person table upstairs, much preferred over a bar, & the server was really nice & chill. The vibe is really nice in the restaurant & the food was really amazing. Definitely recommend. It seemed busy so definitely have a reservation
Accueillie 10 minutes avant notre réservation… les places au bar etaient super confortable. Nous etions a une section qui avait une vue d'ensemble sur l'ambiance mais sans être dérangé par des va & viens. Le serveur, nous a conseillé sur les must & le service a été super plaisant du début à la fin. Quand nous avons reçu notre facture je me demandais s'il manquait des trucs … mais non. Donc prix +++ que raisonnable pour la quantité & la qualité le : hamachi wow 10/10 !

- Pizza countach (fromage & guanciale, style NYC) : croustillante & succulente, 10/10
- Poulet parmigiana, sauce à la vodka : un délice, portion copieuse, 10/10
- Bannacotta (pannacotta à la banane) : un dessert ni trop riche ni trop sucré, parfaitement équilibré, 10/10
Mention spéciale pour le service d'exception. La serveuse arborait toujours un grand sourire en répondant à nos questions, tout en faisant preuve de rapidité & d'efficacité
S'ils vous disent au préalable que c'est correct pour vos restrictions alimentaires, ne les croyez pas: vos amis mangeront devant vous & vous rentrerez le ventre vide. Le serveur ne prend même pas la peine de prévenir qu'attendre votre dessert est inutile.
An ideal date night spot, it delivers in every way. The setting is intimate & beautifully moody-dim lighting, comfortable seating, & giant drip candles that give the whole space a romantic, old-world charm.
An Italian-inspired menu full of wonderful dishes. We started with the ricotta meatballs, which were unbelievably juicy & tender, swimming in a flavorful sauce that you'll want to drink straight out of the plate (which we kind of did, to be honest) & The Parm-perfectly layered, cheesy, & deeply satisfying.
We couldn't resist trying one of their signature pizzas, hilariously (& aptly) named the'Dennis Rodman.' Topped with spicy sausage & baked on a perfect crust, it was bold, satisfying, & full of character-just like its namesake.
Dessert didn't disappoint either-each bite was rich, indulgent, & filling, the kind of sweet finish that leaves you smiling long after the plates are cleared.
the mood is just right: cozy, delicious, & effortlessly cool.

pizza was amazing def the best pizza in montreal, we took the tomato pie pizza. fried calamari was good, for dessert we took the banana dessert wasn't my favourite we would love to see tiramisu on their manu. Loved this place highly recommend
First things first, we ordered 6 things & all six dishes were amazing. We will definitely be back. I would've given it a 5 star, but we were seated at this tiny little high chair table, the kind where your feet are dangling & it was super uncomfortable. The ambiance of the restaurant is great, music is kinda terrible but it's quiet so you don't notice it, & if I'm being honest, I think my experience still would've been 10/10 if my feet were just touching the ground. It sounds like I'm being a Karen but my boyfriend's a big guy, & we order a lot of food. If you're here for two hours your feet are numb by the second hour. It wasn't the right seating choice for us, but frankly I don't think anyone should have to sit at this kind of table, it was almost enough for us to leave.
With that being said, we were served by Marie, she was so sweet & helpful, she helped us find a delicious bottle of bubbles, & recommended some great dishes. She's half the reason we stayed, the food was the other, & I'm so glad we did. She promised us there would be a note in our file that would promise we'd never sit at those tables again, & she understood why it was uncomfy for us. I'm not usually a complainer I promise !!! Wonderful wine selection, & their cocktails look great, I'll try one next time. Also we ordered a lot, like we were very full, & the portions are big, & our bill only came out to 200$. 6 dishes, & a bottle of bubbles. Wow.
Here's what you need to order, the hamachi, delicious. The broccoli, the reviews are right, it's a must have. The duck confit salad, fresh, delicious crisp duck on top. The meatballs, not my personal favourite but my boyfriend insists they're a must. The secret menu pepperoni pizza, crisp, cheesy & wonderful, ask for their spicy sauce on the side. OH!!! & how can I forget the bananacotta dessert, holy moly!!! Sooooo delicious. Not heavy at all, it's nice & light & tasted exactly like when you lick the spoon after you're done making banana bread. The slightly salty, sweet & crispy biscoff on top was a wonderful touch. You have to order it.
So moral of the story, if you get stuck at that shitty seat because they're very booked, just stay at the shitty table & enjoy the delicious food you're about to eat, & ask to be seated in Marie's section.
What an experience, very cute restaurant not too far away from downtown Montreal. First & foremost the fried broccoli appetizer was one of the most delicious dishes I've ever eaten & an absolute MUST. The pizza was delicious too, the chicken parm pretty good, & the desserts amazing. The broccoli & desserts stand out to me as parts of the meal I'd want single handily go back to the restaurant for they were that good.
Also they had the coolest candles ever, check the photos out I really liked them personally.
Wow! The broccoli was the star of the show. Never thought I'd say that sentence but it's true. Crunchy & delicious batter on the outside with a soft inside. Definitely the best broccoli I have ever had & I love broccoli. The pizza was amazing. Chicken parm was okay loved the sauce was great but the actual chicken wasn't to my liking. The banana dessert is also great. Service is good, you feel very well attended to at all points in the meal. One thing to note is that it is a small place which adds to the ambiance but you will get seated at any spot in the restaurant, including the bar which we ended up at. Can't wait to be back

I've been to Marci twice & plan on going there again very soon. I should maybe try something else than the caesar salad next time, but I can't help it, this is probably the best one I've ever tasted. From the caesar anchovy sauce to the freshness of the lettuce, & most importantly the little CROUTONS BITS??? They make every bite you take a crunchy, savoury dream. Kudos to whoever thought about that.
The pizza is amazing, I always take the simplest one (tomato pie) & it's delicious. Great char on the crust & very tasty tomato sauce.
As for the desserts… God, this Bananacotta is one of the best thing I've eaten 🥹 Do not miss out on this one! A little disappointed about the Budino au chocolat tho ; there used to be a generous dose of pistachio cream with sea salt on top. Last week, it wasn't there… maybe it was only for a while? If not, please, put it back!!! 🙏🏼😭🩷
Okay, to begin with just wow. This was not my first time here, I'd gone for cocktails in the past which were always memorable such as their fine martinis which are always a treat. However this was the first time I would order food. Had a fun little self date which absolutely recommend to anyone during the exam period when you need to unwind. The way to go is definitely start with oysters & either a Guiness or a glass of wine to boost those vitamins, then a little app or as I did go for the incredibly delicious chicken parm that killed it on since it kept all the right textures with maybe a little cocktail, then order another little dish if you've got room or move onto dessert. Any dessert would be incredible here but the mousse oh lord the mousse had this seductive velvetyness kind of like Jessica Rabbit. The people there are genuine warm souls & the vibe is beautifully effervescent, plus if the night is still young as you trundle out of there you can always go to any of the bars open late on the same street. Perfect for a cute date night or if you just want a nice little bite to yourself.
Nous avions réservé pour un groupe de 8 sur la terrasse chauffée à l'arrière & nous avons adoré notre soirée. La formule de menu pour les groupes était géniale : nous étions pris en charge & les plats (entrées, pizzas, pâtes, desserts) étaient délicieux & servis à un rythme constant qui faisait qu'on ne manquait de rien. Notre serveuse était ultra sympathique & nous a conseillé dans nos choix de bouteilles de vin (très bon d'ailleurs!). Le tout était accompagné de bonne musique qui rendait l'ambiance très festive. Bref, ce fut une excellente soirée & je recommande l'endroit à tous!
Bon déjà je vais te le dire, on a passé une excellente soirée. La Plaza est piétonne, les enfants hurlent & roulent leurs vélos à contre-sens. Les terrasses sont pleines de gens qui aspirent au bonheur, est-ce qu'on peut leur en vouloir? On s'est fait trainer chez Marci par un habitué & merci à lui. La déco est très fun, un peu Mid-Century cabane à frittes, raffiné classy "je sais c'est qui Frank Lloyd Wright". On s'y sent bien. C'est pas gênant d'y attirer tes beaux-parents qui t'aiment pas tant que ça. La photo ici ne rend absolument pas justice au décor qui est beaucoup plus intéressant que ça & la place plus vaste. Je dois te dire, le menu est très court, pour plein de raisons souvent pour moi c'est bon signe. En générale je préfère avoir à choisir parmi 9 items bien exécutés que 47 options semi mardés dans une cuisine éparpillée. On n'est pas chez Boston Pizza ici. La première assertion s'est révélée vraie. La bouffe est très très bonne ici. Le brocoli est une extraordinaire folie, je sais pas comment ils font ça, légèrement croustillant à l'extérieur & tendre au centre mais sans être trop cuit. Comment c'est possible? Rajoute un peu de la trempette dessus, c'est comme si le brocoli t'embrassait. Y a pleins d'enfants capricieux qui en seraient confondus. Tu réalises soudainement que le "brocoli" peut jouer de la guit électrique. La salade amère est goûteuse, généreuse, croquante & rafraîchissante. Une vrai coquine sous parmesan. Tu dois aussi goûter les boulettes, sont savoureuses, la sauce tomate donne la touche d'acidité qui balance parfaitement le goût de la viande tendre & juteuse. C'est comme le câlin réconfortant d'une maman italienne bienveillante. Les acras de crevettes étaient spicy, une belle surprise. Je pensais y trouver des morceaux de crevettes mais c'est plutôt une purée. Mais qu'est-ce je sais moi sur les acras, ça goûte bon appuyé de la petite sauce rose que tu vois dans l'assiette. La pizza méritait le piédestal préparé par le reste des plats. Bonne cuisson, pâte délicate qui laisse s'exprimer les garnitures. Aussi bonne que belle cette pizza. Naples sans ses soucis? Le dessert aux bananes pourrait être le cousin edgy du banoffee. Tsé le cousin qui roule sur une moto vintage puis qui est capable d'en changer lui-même les freins. Le dessert goûte pas la moto, c'est pas ce que j'ai écrit, je te fais confiance pour discerner. Je termine en te parlant du service. Un mercredi soir tout roulait sur des roulettes. Notre serveuse était souriante, sympathique, à l'affût. En fait tout le staff était souriant & avenant. Les plats sont arrivés dans les bons délais, entre les cocktails bien faits. Très bonne soirée. Des idées simples toutes parfaitement exécutées. J'ai très hâte d'y retourner.
J'ai vraiment adoré, le lieu est très beau & spacieux (il y a deux terrasses & un étage). Nous avons pris une entrée, une pizza & un dessert à partager à deux & c'était vraiment copieux. Beaucoup de choix végé & des aliments très bien sélectionnés nous reviendrons !
