Review Summary

Marche La Poblanita receives wide praise for authentic Mexican flavors, fresh ingredients, and generous portions, with many reviewers noting standout dishes like tacos, tamales and chilaquiles and a welcoming, easygoing atmosphere plus friendly, efficient service. The place is often described as feeling like home even for non Mexicans, and repeat visits are common, reflecting consistent quality across meals. A minority of feedback points to high prices relative to value and occasional issues such as overly salty food or a milanesa that tasted like reused oil, along with hygiene concerns and requests for more vegetarian options, though a vegan taco has been prepared on request. Overall the restaurant is seen as a true, family-run Mexican spot with strong favorites and a lively vibe, attracting steady crowds while price considerations remain a noted caveat for some guests.

Extremely disappointing experience. The food was overly salty to the point of being almost inedible. Any potential flavor was completely ruined by the excessive salt.

The prices are absurdly overpriced - $80 for two people, only two main dishes & one soft drink. Completely unjustifiable.

My husband ordered a milanesa sandwich, & the milanesa tasted like old, reused oil. Shortly after eating it, he suffered a stomachache. That is unacceptable & raises serious concerns about food quality & hygiene.

It's a shame because the location has great potential, but the food quality & pricing completely miss the mark.

This was my second visit & absolutely my last. I would not recommend this place.

Always pass by this place & see a lot of people eating here. We decided to get their special of the day which was their birria tacos. It was a bit pricey at 27.99 but honestly the quality & taste was amazing! They had the crispy cheese on the inside with the tender shredded pork. Their hot sauces were also delicious! Overall it's pricey but the food is very good & the service is friendly. Would probably not come very often because of the price.

Rapid service & very amicable people. The food was exceptional & the portions for the actual plates were big enough to cover the entire price (I was skeptical about the high prices in the beginning). Therefore, amazing food quality to price ratio. The location is kind of out of place for the resto/shop though as I think it definitely deserves a place as an actual separate building instead of a marché due to how great it is.
