Le Richmond was, unfortunately, a major disappointment.
Despite the restaurant being barely 30% full, the service was painfully slow-it took over an hour for our food to arrive. When it finally did, the portions were shockingly small, & the flavor was, at best, mediocre. Given the prices & the setting, the quality fell far short of expectations.
While the staff were polite, they were not attentive. I ordered a second drink that simply never arrived, & no one followed up. On top of that, several items listed on the menu were not available, which only added to the frustration.
This place might rely on its looks, but beyond the decor, there's little substance. Definitely not worth the time or the money.View more
Stylish & spacious place to stop by for a coffee, breakfast or dessert. Food is good, huge portion; atmosphere was super relaxing. Nice natural sunlight almost every corner. The store sells nice range of imported produce & kitchenware. Found some nice crystal glasses & hand made kitchen accessories.View more
I visited your store this Thursday morning for a coffee & some sandwiches, & I just wanted to say how lovely the experience was. The atmosphere was calm & welcoming perfect for starting the day. The music was relaxing & just the right volume & the space had such a cozy, peaceful vibe.
Also the girl who was in the cash & made my coffee was so kind, warm & respectful. Her smile & gentle attitude really made my morning better. It's rare to find places that feel this friendly & genuine.
I'll definetely be coming back !View more
A coffee/dessert/Italian restaurant is located in a grocery store selling Italian products. Very stylish!
The economy is not good now, & many people are tightening their belts. Correspondingly, more & more concept coffee shops are opened in clothing stores, home furnishing stores, & furniture stores. It is wonderful to be in the shop, drink coffee, eat cakes, chat & laugh with friends, & pretend that this is your home. Maybe dream comes true later …View more
Best brunch spot in town. The portion size & taste was wonderful. The mushroom costini is a must try.View more
Nice place. Reminded me a bit when i visit a popular market in Madrid where we can find all kind of tapas. I will come back to Le Richemont really like my benedic eggs with salmon.View more
I've been going to Marché Italien Le Richemont for about four years now, & I really wish I could say it's stayed as good as it was the first time I went. Unfortunately, it's been going downhill ever since.
The very first time I ate there, I had a beautiful carpaccio to start & a veal cutlet as a main. Everything was well-cooked, well-presented, & felt genuinely special. That meal really stood out, & I left thinking I had found a hidden gem in Griffintown.
Since then, I've returned mostly for brunch, & every time the experience has been more disappointing than the last. The service has dropped significantly. The concept of the place is interesting, with a shop, a deli counter, & a restaurant all in one space, but I feel like the staff are shared across all three & it makes everything feel stretched thin. When the restaurant gets busy, the team just can't keep up. It often shows in small but important ways, I've had to sit at sticky tables more than once, which says a lot about how overwhelmed the staff are during peak hours.
The shop itself is visually attractive. Some of the products are cute & make for good gifts, but pricing is a serious issue. It's extremely expensive, even for Griffintown standards. It's nice to browse & maybe pick something up once in a while, but it's not a place where I'd go do any regular shopping.
It's a shame, because the place does have potential. The idea behind it works. But the execution has just been getting worse, & there doesn't seem to be a sense of accountability for it. At this point, I wouldn't recommend the restaurant side anymore. There are too many other places in the city offering better food & better service for the same or even less money.View more

Food was really good.
Good coffee, acceptable bakery & excellent service.
Music not so loud, so you can talk normally.
All these in a Italian food market, so it is great!
Is not cheap!View more

The ambience is amazing ,we usually go there for sandwiches & dessert & they both are great & so tasty , yet when we decided to dine in the service was sooo slow , literally there only one other table & it took us around 2 hrs to finish! Also the portions where so small & not that tasty it was a disappointmentView more

Beau petit marché. Beaucoup de place pour s'assoir & manger, belle variété de repas froids & chauds pour le dîner.View more
This place warms us up with their food, ambience & the nice people working. It's our 2nd time in 2 months & we went for breakfast/brunch on both occasions. It's been a cheerful experience. Highly recommend!View more
One of the very few places in Montreal you could have a nice real coffee & relax.View more
Great place to enjoy a long lunch. Very laid back yet professional service. They put the focus on the food not the interior or how cool the staff looked!View more
