Review Summary

Marché Andes is widely regarded as a go-to destination for authentic Latin American cuisine and imported grocery products in Montreal. Many visitors appreciate the friendly and welcoming service provided by the staff, often highlighting the delicious quality of prepared dishes like empanadas, chicharrón, and arepas. While the market is praised for its extensive variety and helpful atmosphere, some feedback notes inconsistencies in food freshness and rising prices over recent years. Although most interactions are positive, a few patrons have expressed dissatisfaction regarding specific service experiences in the butcher section and occasional quality fluctuations, yet the overall consensus remains that it is a cherished hidden gem for those seeking a true taste of Latin heritage.

We are so disappointed with my husband. We went there bought some condiments from Peru only to find out that it is expiring the next day. They shouldn't sell it at all!! There's no way we can return it right now because we drove all the way from Ontario. Very disappointed. We will never come back again.

Major hidden gem for Latin food in Montreal. Had no idea there were Latin establishments this old in Montreal. To my knowledge the food seems to center around Colombian & Salvadoran eats but not limited to those for a truly pan-Latin experience. This applies especially to the market section which has a variety of imported goods from down south. This a must visit for lovers of Latin food.
