Marathon Souvlaki is widely praised for flavorful Greek cuisine, generous portions, and good value whether dining in or ordering takeout. The meat is described as well cooked on the grill, with standout tzatziki, fresh salads, and a house dressing that many find delicious. Service is generally fast and friendly, contributing to a lively, family friendly atmosphere, though a few reviews note it can be noisy or busy and occasionally service slows down. Some comments mention changes to the bread, extra charges for tzatziki, or variability between visits, but overall the food remains fresh, satisfying, and consistently high quality. The restaurant is seen as a go-to for authentic Greek staples and has a longstanding reputation as a reliable favorite in the area.
This was one of the best meals I had in Montreal. The service was so quick we got our food in less than 10 minutes & the restaurant was super busy. The only down side is that there is hardly any parking- we found a spot but I have no idea where everyone else parked. Also the prices were super reasonable. We got two meals with salads & drinks for $40 USD.

Love the food! For Laval, the service is very good, but it's too loud & busy. For the West Island, food was very good, service was very good & it was a quieter atmosphere.
Went on a dinner date to this location during the holidays & although the booths are somewhat cramped, decor is well done services excellent & food quality is top-notch authentic Greek. Chicken souvlaki, taramasalata & tzatziki are awesome. Was not impressed with their fries, store bought frozen crinkle cut… which is why they only got 4 stars. Otherwise, incredible experience. Tarama was so good it didn't make it to the picture :-D
I want to say, I went & bought two large chicken loose meat plates & came home & had pork meat. I was very disappointed. I called in & spoke to Alexia who was very understanding & offered to compensated me by Giving me a whole new order ( the right order) for FREE! I was super impressed. They never do that elsewhere. Thank you guys!

I ate there on Nov 6. Food & atmosphere were acceptable but the service was poor. I asked for the bill at the end & after a 15 minute wait at the table, I decided to leave & pay at the exit. My greeter was Kat; when I checked out, the server was busy chatting with her two colleagues - with disregard to other people's time. I was in a rush & couldn't find the $0 tip button, so I left an undeserved tip. Table 21, Client 1 Time in: 20:05:61 out:21:14:01 I encourage the management to have a chat with the server. As for me - I will try other places next time I am in the area.
Nourriture excellente, mon restaurant Grecque préféré & un service exceptionnel de tous les serveurs, & la tadziki est la meilleure que j'ai mangé, merci marathon Laval
