Waitress brought the plate & asked,'Do you want anything else, ketchup? Mayo? Tzatziki?' Yeah sure you can bring me some Tzatziki. & they end up charging you for the sauce. I think not letting the client know that there's an extra charge for the sauce is unethical. I didn't really want the sauce but since the waitress asked along with mayo & ketchup, you really think it is offered for free. I have no issues paying, but LET THE CLIENT KNOW THAT THIS IS AN EXTRA.
We ordered from this restaurant today. The plates we got were soooo good. Generous portions, great prices. The quality of food was amazing. Enough tzatziki sauce on our pitas. & the salads, wow. Tomato slices big & juicy. Enough dressing. Delivery time was good too. Will definitely order from there again! Thank you for making delicious food!
Hands down the BEST souvlaki I have ever had! It's not a secret that my favourite meal is chicken, rice & salad & this was next level. The meat was cooked absolutely perfectly. We ordered a spare skewer of pork which was so tender! The Marathon salad dressing was delicious as was the rice. We also ordered the tzatziki which came with this beautifully toasted pita drizzled with olive oil & Greek seasoning. Hubby had the pork gyro which was massive! My plate was huge & I could barely finish it. I can see why this place has been open for so many years; it's a gem & I look forward to returning!
This marathons & marathons express is the BEST! I came back from my trip craving marathons!! there was a small misunderstanding with my order & they agreed to exchange it , drove back & finally I got the right order & it tasted amazing, fresh, I also love there tzatziki & salad dressing I'm craving it every single day. Thank you so so much to everyone working there ❤? you made my night!
I ordered for delivery, so I can't comment on the service or atmosphere. However, the food is simply magnificent

No tzatziki with the >120$ 4 platters was surprising! As it was my first time & I got take out I was a little disappointed & so were my guests, otherwise all was good & service at the takeout counter was nice. Didn't really feel like going back to get it..
Went on a dinner date to this location during the holidays & although the booths are somewhat cramped, decor is well done services excellent & food quality is top-notch authentic Greek. Chicken souvlaki, taramasalata & tzatziki are awesome. Was not impressed with their fries, store bought frozen crinkle cut… which is why they only got 4 stars. Otherwise, incredible experience. Tarama was so good it didn't make it to the picture :-D
Pourquoi avoir changé le pain toasté avec la sauce tzatziki pour un pita? Ben voyons, c'était vraiment une de vos entrées signature!J'etais très déçue lorsque mon entrée est arrivée. J'espère que le propriétaire va revenir sur ça décision .
Toujours aussi bon mais grande déception de recevoir mon pain avec l'entrée de tzatziki celui avant était tellement meilleur. juste pour ça je ne suis pas certaine d'y revenir 😞

Tout est bon chez Marathon. On ne se trompe pas à commander le gyro pita, la brochette de poulet, le tzatziki & le spanakopita... & que dire de la salade Marathon! Elle est unique & délicieuse. Ce que j'aime par dessus tout chez Marathon c'est leur accueil & leur sourire. Autant l'hôtesse que les hommes en cuisine. Tout le monde vous salue & vous sourie. Une denrée rare de nos jours, mais qui fait la différence pour moi.
Been eating here in over 30yrs. Something has changed with the tzatziki. It's not as salty or garlicky. 3 times in past 2mths so it isn't just a "bad batch". Pretty disappointing 😕 other than that it's great but the tzatziki main thing....
