The food was excellent, but the service was fatal. The waitress was very distracted. We did not have our plates at the time, & we ordered meat, & the knife was not on the table. My husband had to get up & pick up a knife. Again, the food was excellent, but the service was terrible.

Food is good but a bit pricey for what you get. Best coffee cake I've ever had (pistachio one was served). Ambience is nice!

One of the best Italian meals I've ever had. Staff is incredible. Food is amazing. Caesar salad & bolognese to die for.

I think we may have been lucky to walk in & get a spot without a reservation. This is a busy place, & at times can be quite loud, but it was not an issue for us. Stool seating at a counter/shelf isn't my preference for dinner (maybe for fast food), but you may very well be seated at one unless you make a reservation for a table.

The waiter was helpful to make our selections for drink & dinner. To start, we shared the Caesar salad, which was very good. Then on to the Bolognese pasta for main dish; also very good.

I'd recommend this restaurant for reasonably priced Italian food, & excellent Caesar salad. For dinner, I'd also recommend reservations for a seat at a table for a more comfortable dining experience.

They say the third time's a charm, but unfortunately that wasn't the case here.
On a positive note, our server was excellent-professional, attentive, & truly a gem. She really elevated the experience.
I'm also glad I didn't judge the place too quickly, because my first interaction with the host was quite off-putting. For some reason, he chose to address only one person in our party of two (& not me), which felt odd. He also tried to joke around but couldn't remember his colleagues' names, which made the interaction awkward rather than welcoming.
Overall, a mixed experience-great service at the table, but a confusing & uncomfortable start.

We ate around 5PM on a wednesday so my review on the atmosphere may not be accurate.

The cesar salad was amazing & the riccotta ravioli as well. However the sausage riggatoni was average at best.
