I had a fantastic experience at Manga Bistro! The friendly staff made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The wonderful environment, adorned with vibrant manga decorations, truly enhances the dining experience. The easy order system made choosing our favorite sushi a breeze. With a diverse selection & fresh ingredients, this sushi buffet is a must-visit! Highly recommend!
We decided to try a new sushi place here in Montreal & ended up at this restaurant.
Unfortunately, the sashimi wasn't fresh at all. I've never had sashimi with such a bad smell & taste before!
The sushi pieces were much larger than usual & packed with an excessive amount of rice. Eating them felt like I was just chewing rice balls.
It honestly seemed like a tactic to fill you up quickly so you can't order more.
The ingredients inside the sushi rolls weren't fresh either, & the amount of filling was far too little for their size.
However, the vibe was amazing. All the walls were covered with anime posters. I loved the design & the atmosphere.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place for the food, but the decor & ambiance were definitely amazing.

I can't say I understand the reviews this place gets because the food was mediocre. The sushi rice was under seasoned, some hot dishes were cold when received (Mushrooms, teriyaki beef), some items lacked flavour, & when we reordered the few things we did like most didn't taste anything like the first order.
The staff was friendly, & the restaurant was clean, but it's unlikely we'll be eating here again.

Les meilleurs sushis que j'ai jamais mangés 🤩 Tout était excellent : les sushis étaient frais & délicieux. Un très bon rapport qualité/prix. Le service était rapide avec un personnel au top.
