I had an amazing experience at Manga Bistro! The friendly staff made us feel right at home, & the wonderful environment with unique manga decorations added to the charm. The easy order system made selecting our favorites a breeze. The torched sushi was simply out of this world-rich in flavor & beautifully presented. I can't wait to return for more! Highly recommend!

Not great, not bad. The food is good but it's not great, some orders never get to your table & some random items that you didn't order end up at your table. It's cramped, it's loud & the only selling point is the maximalist manga decor which felt like 90% just dragon ball & one piece with sprinkles of others in there.

I recently visited Manga Bistro & was absolutely thrilled with the experience! The torched sushi was a standout, delivering incredible flavors that kept me coming back for more. The staff was incredibly friendly, making me feel right at home in the wonderful environment adorned with manga decorations. Plus, the easy order system made dining a breeze. Decor is pretty, food was not the best but not bad either, it was ok honestly but service was poor. They practically threw the plates onto our table, maybe we just had a bad waiter, but he probably said 5 words to us the entire meal.

We decided to try a new sushi place here in Montreal & ended up at this restaurant.
Unfortunately, the sashimi wasn't fresh at all. I've never had sashimi with such a bad smell & taste before!
The sushi pieces were much larger than usual & packed with an excessive amount of rice. Eating them felt like I was just chewing rice balls.
It honestly seemed like a tactic to fill you up quickly so you can't order more.
The ingredients inside the sushi rolls weren't fresh either, & the amount of filling was far too little for their size.
However, the vibe was amazing. All the walls were covered with anime posters. I loved the design & the atmosphere.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place for the food, but the decor & ambiance were definitely amazing.
