The new chicken ceasar salad is so disappointing, especially for the price. I was looking forward to a salad that was on par with the Jules Ceasar, which used to have kale & romaine, capers, crispy parm, pita chips, Parmesan petals, & proper thick bacon. INSTEAD I was disappointed to find out it was replaced with a sad, plain romaine salad that was under-dressed & had only chicken, a little parm & some Panko crumbs (panko crumbs!!??). For the price, I expect more.
New custom orders are absolutely terrible. Removed most of the options, the only grain you can choose now is quinoa??? If i'm going to be paying 25$+ for a custom salad, let me pick what i want in it without limiting me. Ridiculous.
I had a lovely time! Food is good as always, & Fran & Jack made the whole experience much better, I felt so welcomed. I absolutely love the aesthetic & vibes, especially the pink 💖
I just had lunch at Mandy's & had an amazing time!!! I ordered their delicious Steak Salad, the steak, raisins creamy lettuce, crunchy component & fulfilling elements were a dream & made me want to levitate. The staff were also very kind & it only took 5-10 minutes to make my salad which is impressive for such a large portion. Thank you guys, & a special shoutout to Mandy & Rebecca Wolfe for the creation of this incredible salad joint! Kudos to all of you!
The workers are great! Went there cause they had keto options. The salad is mid :/ not my style. & from reddit the owners are allegedly not good people. But at least the workers are 👍
Fantastically mediocre. Anyone is far better off with respect to money & quality, making their own salad at home. These folks have built a mini empire on the idea of quick'gourmet' salads. Trust me, any human with a knife, cutting board, vegetables & a modicum of imagination can achieve what this place doles out. & they had the audacity to release a bloody cookbook!! I only give the service 3 stars because the staff isn't to blame for the insipidness of the owners.
I eat out a lot. When I feel bad about eating unhealthy, I finally pull the trigger & order from Mandy's. On the website I built my own salad for takeout. Nothing special: mixed greens, cucumber, tomato, feta, chickpeas, pita chips, chicken, marinated onions, Kalamata… $30. I've been programmed to accept expensive salads, but this is getting out of hand. Fine, I remove feta & pita chips - btw charging $2.75 for pita chips is criminal. You can get a whole bag for like $1.29 at Adonis. Whatever, I remove tomato & cucumber too because I have that at home. I'll make my own chips. Now it's $20. I get home. Salad looks decent, what you'd expect from Mandy's. Portion is okay. I asked for dressing on the side; good thing, because it was terrible. What happened to the quality of this olive oil? It went from decent to bitter low grade. The bowl was a bit small so I transferred it to another one. Lo & behold, that's when I saw disgusting lettuce. Old, slimy, soggy lettuce. Unacceptable. The whole point of paying $20 is that you expect fresh salad, not this slop. Sure, it was only around 10 leaves, but still unacceptable. I end up inspecting every leaf for slime & rewashing a few. That's exactly what I pay extra to avoid. How is this okay? Huge staff, huge marketing budget, & you can't guarantee fresh salad? This is the second time this happens, so I decided to write a review. Last time I told myself it was a one-off, but now I'm the sucker for going back. Don't make the same mistake.
