My favs are the habibi salad & the Wolfe salad with chicken. Highly recommend :)
Ordered Mandy's last night. Really disappointed by the quality of the salads. It's hit or miss. Wilted lettuce, less than fresh produce. It's a salad, everything going into it should be super fresh & gross pieces removed. At this price I would expect better.
The staff were patient & didn't rush me while I sampled the different vinaigrette options, which I appreciated. The meal was fresh, light, & flavorful, making it a great choice when you're looking for something satisfying without feeling too heavy. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, & I would definitely return.
I eat out a lot. When I feel bad about eating unhealthy, I finally pull the trigger & order from Mandy's. On the website I built my own salad for takeout. Nothing special: mixed greens, cucumber, tomato, feta, chickpeas, pita chips, chicken, marinated onions, Kalamata… $30. I've been programmed to accept expensive salads, but this is getting out of hand. Fine, I remove feta & pita chips - btw charging $2.75 for pita chips is criminal. You can get a whole bag for like $1.29 at Adonis. Whatever, I remove tomato & cucumber too because I have that at home. I'll make my own chips. Now it's $20. I get home. Salad looks decent, what you'd expect from Mandy's. Portion is okay. I asked for dressing on the side; good thing, because it was terrible. What happened to the quality of this olive oil? It went from decent to bitter low grade. The bowl was a bit small so I transferred it to another one. Lo & behold, that's when I saw disgusting lettuce. Old, slimy, soggy lettuce. Unacceptable. The whole point of paying $20 is that you expect fresh salad, not this slop. Sure, it was only around 10 leaves, but still unacceptable. I end up inspecting every leaf for slime & rewashing a few. That's exactly what I pay extra to avoid. How is this okay? Huge staff, huge marketing budget, & you can't guarantee fresh salad? This is the second time this happens, so I decided to write a review. Last time I told myself it was a one-off, but now I'm the sucker for going back. Don't make the same mistake.
Mandy's is one of my favourite places to stop for a quick, healthy, & balanced meal. Their salads are vibrant & colorful, the greens are fresh & crisp, & the toppings & dressings are varied & flavourful. The portion sizes are super generous too! There are plenty of plant-based & vegan options, all of which are clearly labelled on the menu. The Endless Summer salad has been my go-to for years & I never tire of it!
The staff are friendly & efficient, even during busy rush hours. There's quite a bit of indoor seating in a bright, laid-back atmosphere with comfy benches.
i haven't tried a salad from the westmont location that wasn't 10/10! this places has become one of my go to spots for a fresh & delicious salad.
the vibe is also amazing, relaxed & clean, & the staff is always so friendly & welcoming. you can tell that the manager puts a lot of care & energy into running this place smoothly, i've seen it first hand!
definitely worth a visit (or several)
Bright fully good, fresh & healthy delicious salads in a luminous energetic ambiance. Every vegetarian salads 🥗 I tried were delightful & generous. You can also cheat on your diet with their amazing cookies!🍪 Staff is very friendly & efficient.
My girlfriend had her heart set on some shoe shopping & a visit to a'salad place' in downtown Montreal. I went along for the ride, not expecting much-after all, I had poutine on the brain, not greens. But after a chilly afternoon running around the city with her, even I had to admit I was starting to get hungry.
We ended up at Mandy's, & while I didn't think I'd find anything that fit my very carnivorous preferences, a mushroom soup on the menu caught my eye. When I found out I could add chicken, that sealed the deal. I also grabbed a natural soda that, to my surprise, wasn't packed with corn syrup like most of what we get back home in the States.
The soup was absolutely delicious-rich, hearty, & warming in a way I wasn't expecting from a place known for salads. My girlfriend's salad, on the other hand, was massive-fresh, loaded with toppings, & so big she had to take half of it back to the hotel.
The staff were super friendly, & while the interior was fairly standard, we had no trouble finding a seat & enjoying our meal.
In the end, it was a culinary win I didn't see coming. I'd definitely go back-with or without my girlfriend dragging me in.
Visited this Mandy's several times. Service is good, fast, everything is clean, nice decorations & of course delicious fresh salads! Also nice place for having coffee or matcha.
