My friend & I made reservations for Friday night. This is a well established restaurant with lots of charm & it's just beautiful. I'm including my pictures to illustrate this. I ordered the pasta & meat sauce & my friend ordered the Pasta Primavera. My friend actually is a very good cook & she loved her dish. & I loved my dish also. The food is very tasty. The Staff is friendly, & welcoming. We were served & waited upon beautifully. Just a little anecdote, this particular restaurant is very special to me because my husband took me here on our first date. & so because of this., I would highly recommend this for People who are going out on a first date, & anybody who wants a special ambiance.View more
Very happy to have a nice local pizza place nearby, this is always a must for me. On our first visit, we ordered pizzas to go. The pizza was larger than I had thought, so we had plenty of leftovers for the next day & it was just as good the day after. The pizza is also not very greasy either, I would say that the pepperoni one was ok, but the better choices are the ones with more toppings, the all dressed & super special were very good. On our second visit we had the pasta, & that was excellent. I has the Cannelloni Fiorentina & loved it. The cheese, freshly made pasta & other ingredients were delicious & the serving size was perfect. A great take out option when you have a group over or just to stop by for a nice meal.View more

Came here with a couple friends & we really enjoyed ourselves. The complimentary bread that we got was fantastic. Our orders were great & the restaurant didn't shy away when it came to serving parmesan. The staff was also really friendly when we entered & left the establishment.View more
My husband & I decided to try Mamma Mia as we had not been there in quite some time. We were with 5 other people. The food was exceptional, as good as any high end Italian restaurant. The portions were very generous & the service was excellent. I ordered a glass of house white wine which came in a small decanter. Normally, when you order a glass of wine, you get one glass. Well, the decanter provided two full glasses of wine for a very reasonable price of $9.75. The meals were quite reasonably priced. The restaurant was busy & a good time was had by all. Everyone's nice! It takes 20 minutes for it to get ready & it's definitely should be a longer wait. For what it's worth, it is one of the best places in mtl for pasta pizza, anything Italian?View more
The service & ambiance were great. There was something a little lacking in the pizza, if I'm very honest, but I think it's more the style of pizza rather than a lack of quality. Altogether a pleasant experience.View more
Depth of flavor rule here chef is obviously not afraid to kick it up veal pizziolla was delicious spinach & cheese cannelloni was above the norm. Tableside service was ok not there fault really the place was full they looked a bit frazzled doing there best it seemed to handle bills & plates Overall great choiceView more

I must start out by saying that my review is probably biased as I worked here over 50 years ago. It brought back fond memories. The restaurant has changed inside since then, & now has a warm comfortable inviting atmosphere, overseen by friendly family service. The menu here has always been fresh, with the best ingredients. That recipe hasn't changed in 50 years plus. Family owned & supported. Best pizza & pasta.View more

Absolutely delicious pizza. Incredibly it still tastes the same as it did 44 years ago when it first became a weekly treat for me as a kid. The consistency of taste & texture over generations is a mark of care & quality that's rare. Bravo Mama Mia Pizzeria!View more
I ordered the escargots & was surprised to see the plate covered with pieces of mushrooms...The Cesar salad was good but the dressing came from a bottle. Service was extremely slow (the restaurant was full & only had one waiter). Prices a bit steep for what they have to offer. This was my second visit.
