Beautiful ambience & perfectly situated in the north end of Nun's Island. An absolute local treasure & a biker's favorite. We were biking around the island & decided for a pit stop for some parties & coffee. The cafe is clean & well stocked. Cappuccinos are also delicious, not the best in the city, but a good size of caffeine for your buck. If you are wondering in the neighborhood or merely living in the vicinity, it is a landmark🤩
Mamie Clafoutis, d'une succursale à l'autre, semble bien maîtrisée leur technique & la qualité de tous leurs produits. Les 3 viennoiseries & le pain aux pépites de chocolat sont tous excellents, vraiment de qualité. Le "oh mon dieu" porte bien son nom pour une chocolatine des plus décadentes! La chocolatine classique tire son jeu des offres à Montréal haut la main, la version avec pâte d'amande est une autre option décadente qu'on devrait se permettre une fois de temps en temps seulement haha! Je donnerais bien 5 étoiles aussi pour l'emballage écolo avec les papiers protégeant chaque item dans un sac brun sans flafla tout compostable. Payer pour la bonne bouffe & non pour l'emballage tape à l'oeil!
Very mediocre establishment... A few nice pastries but the majority are over priced, undercooked & done without any care. Displays are dirty with streaks all over the glass. Sandwiches are overpriced & under filled. If you don't want to leave the island it's not a bad place but if you've ever been to a great bakery you'll be left feeling like you should have gone somewhere else. For the management.... A little TLC would you do a wonder of difference. - Led light strips could be well glued instead of falling over the pastries. - making sure the glass is clean & pastry stations look clean & filled. - using a real table & not a plastic flip up one for the sugar, napkins, etc... Using nice recipients... - having staff ask people if they need help & any new additions for the week. Hope this is taken in good spirit. Good luck
Came in for a quick coffee & croissant. Got an americano & thyme croissant. Good coffee. The thyme croissant was pretty good, would recommend it! The shop offers a variety of pastries. The cakes looked very good. They also have bread, packaged brownie mix, waffle mix, crepe mix & cake mixes. They have seating indoor & a nice outdoor patio with many picnic benches. Great neighborhood coffee shop.
It's a great little coffee house with a few tables inside & some picnic tables outside. There are fresh baked goods & some other grab & go products as well. I was there around 11am for coffee & it seemed to be very popular as several other customers were enjoying coffee & snacks on the tables outside.
Such a nice addition to the island! So thankful for a cute little bakery with fresh bread & croissants, which are all amazing. They even have a selection of artisanal food products. So far haven't been disappointed!
