The food & service were great! I love a brunch place that accepts reservations, which I recommend as it does get crowded. We got the pancakes & the toasted salmon, which were delicious. I found the price point for the salmon high at $22 as it wasn't super filling. Pancakes were at $18, which is typically for MTL brunch places. The place is beautiful. However, there are a lot of tables crammed at the back, which makes it less intimate. I would go back to try their amazing looking cookies, though.
L'endroit est charmant, un peu étriqué mais c'est pas grave. Le café ok. La nourriture (côté sucré plus que salé) est bonne mais un peu trop cher pour ce que c'est.
The quality of the food has significantly deteriorated since my last visit. The avocado toast was frankly sad - instead of slices of perfectly ripe avocado the bread was covered in what seems to be pre-processed store-bought guacamole past its prime. The drizzle of mysterious orange sauce on top only made matters worse. Please consider revisiting the recipe &/or quality control for this dish.

Finally popped in here while killing some time for an appointment nearby (I've heard it's insanely busy on weekends so was happy to go on a weekday). The food was delicious - tried the pancakes & would absolutely order them again. $18 for a stack of three pancakes is definitely pricy but you have to accept the upscale prices if you want to dine here unfortunately. For a black coffee & pancakes, it came to about $25. The drip coffee was a bit bitter but generally tasted good. Service was so so. Took a few minutes to be seated but the server came by relatively quickly to take my order. Food came out quickly but never saw my server again until I was finished. The place was busy for 1:30pm on a weekday but I echo similar comments that there are far too many tables crammed into the space which really takes away from the atmosphere. Less so if you're seated near the front of the cafe but very much at the back near the kitchen. Overall a cute cafe to try out in the area. Would return for the pancakes!
Ce charmant café newyorkais s'est installé à Montréal il y a quelques années. Endroit sympa ou prendre un café & bruncher. Le service, quoi qu'un peu lent à la machine à café, est très sympa.

We can go on & on about this place - Food: we had the French toast & the smoked salmon along with Mamans dish. The first two were our favourites - Drinks: we had flat white & black coffee & the coffee was great - Atmosphere: Interior is so cozy with lots of natural plants & classic decorations - Staff: amazing welcoming staff. Our flight was an hour delayed & we missed our reservation by an hour & they checked by calling & honoured our request to put it on hold though they had a long queue waiting outside
Réservation honorée à l'heure. Le matcha givré était délicieux & délicat. Le bol de Papa était très goûtu particulièrement les pommes de terre dont j'aimerais connaitre la recette de cuisson. Sur les trois personnes qui se sont occupés de nous, deux étaient fantastiques & la troisième n'avait pas envie d'être là & le faisait clairement sentir. Je reviendrai en espérant avoir un autre serveur :)

C'est un très cute endroit avec de la bonne nourriture, c'est juste dommage qu'ils étaient très understaffed (2 personnes sur le plancher & seulement 1 personne au bar) car cela a rendu la tâche impossible & désagréable pour nous en tant que clients. Des demandes sont oubliés, une attente presque de 2hr, ça ne fait pas de sense.
Très mauvaise expérience. Place surchargée de gens, on ne peut s'entendre parler, on est coincé. Temps interminable pour recevoir la nourriture....plus de 45min. Mon sandwich maman baignait dans le jus des oignons caramélisé, pas mouillé. Extrêmement cher alors que l'assiette est composée a moitié de salade verte. Je n'y retournerai jamais
Très beau restaurant, belle ambiance, nourriture délicieuse. Service à améliorer, le téléphone qui sonne devrait être moins prioritaire que les clients déjà assis dans votre restaurant. Des ustensiles pour manger devraient être sur la table avant d'asseoir les clients. Saluer les clients qui attendent dans l'entrée, leur dire au minimum que vous pourrez les accueillir dans quelques instants, ça serait mieux que de faire comme si vous ne les aviez pas vu.
Amazing place for breakfast. The combination of healthy & tasty food is beyond expectations. Staff is very helpful & professional. Loved the food, service & interior of the restaurant.
