Hier, dimanche, nous avions décidé de tester ce restaurant de brunch. Quelle mauvaise idée ! Le serveur, un peu "grande dame" levait les yeux au ciel en faisant la moue quand les réponses à ses questions n'arrivaient pas assez vite. Ensuite, nous avons dû attendre plus de 45 minutes pour êtres envie. Quand nous avons posé la question au serveur, il ne savait pas pourquoi c'était long. Ça concernait la cuisine, pas lui. Quant aux plats, pour le même plat commande que la table voisine, je n'ai pas eu le meme contenu. Bizarre, non ? De plus, les portions sont petites & ca n'a vraiment rien d'original. Bref, une grande déception. Nous n'y retournerons plus & nous l'avons dit clairement en payant la facture.
Réservation un dimanche 11h. Le serveur, peu aimable, a pris notre commande sans tenir compte des premiers arrivés premiers servis. J'ai dû changer mon plat car il n'y en avait déjà plus (à 11h !!!!, non 11h 20...) & que le dernier a été servi à la table installée après nous mais dont la commande a été prise avant nous ! Nos plats sont arrivés 45 mn après la prise de commande, trop long pour moi. Le plat, en petite portion, n'était ni bon ni mauvais, commun, sans plus (pas de valeur ajoutée restaurant). Il a fallu se déplacer & faire la queue pour payer au comptoir. Le travail du serveur n'a que peu d'intérêt : service lent, sans prise sur la cuisine, il ne respecte pas l'ordre des arrivées & ne nous évite pas de faire la queue pour le paiement. L'intérieur est TRÈS BRUYANT. Nous y sommes restés bien trop longtemps pour un résultat décevant. & dire qu'il y a la queue pour y bruncher !!!!! Je n'y reviendrai pas.
A must go to if you are exploring Montreal! We went for brunch & the breakfast sandwich was to die for (first time having bacon jam - wow!). I absolutely love the vintage atmosphere & the plants just make it feel so much more lively. The salad was simple but so fresh!!! Loved the food & the experience. Staff is very very friendly!
De superbes viennoiseries! Emilie nous a donner un superbe service. Elle était très attentionné & s'est donné au delà pour s'assurer de notre satisfaction (cafe filtre).
Me & my friends booked an appointment at 15:00, but when we get there on time they tell us that the kitchen closes at 15:00. I showed the servers the confirmation I got & they told us they will call their manager. The call made us believe that they will find a way to accommodate us, or tell us that they can't do anything for us. Either way, we expected them to come back to see us & tell us about the situation. The infuriating part of the situation is that none of them took the time to talk to us & give us the result of the phone call they made. Instead, they just hung up & stood behind the counter. Once we got tired of them not doing anything about the situation, we decided to go somewhere else, & that's when they gave us a "sorry". As a waitress myself, I understand that sometimes there are things that are out of the staff's control, but it is their job to give proper customer service. This is probably just a system issue, so I understand if we can't eat there, but the service was disappointing.
I tried Maple Pancake. Taste was good & fluffy. They serve with fresh fruits & a side of maple syrup. The staff has good energy & so friendly. Love the vibe 😊 I also tried pistachio croissant last time & it was great with latte.

C'est ma deuxième fois chez Maman. J'ai commandé le matcha au chocolat blanc & il était délicieux. Les boissons chez Maman sont exquis! Cependant, à mon grand désarroi, les pancakes au croquant à l'érable m'ont beaucoup déçu. Ils étaient crus & goûtaient beaucoup la farine & la consistance très pâteuse. De plus, l'assiette de sandwich déjeuner maman aussi était décevante. L'oeuf était trop cuit, le pain pas assez toaster & les pommes de terre trop fades. Les prix des plats ne sont pas donnés donc c'est très dommage & décevant... Je ne compte pas retourner pour manger dans le futur malheureusement.
Service staff are knowledgeable about the menu but don't pay attention to you after ordering unless you approach them or call them. The atmosphere is great but too crowded. Food is amazing & the portions are great
Really nice place. Great service. The web said that they offer vegan options, however just a cake & a soup were labeled as vegan, but we asked & they kindly organized some dishes so they could be vegan. Quinoa salad without dressing & potatoes.
Nous avons mangé dans plusieurs succursales de New York & nous avions certes, des attentes. Malheureusement les assiettes débordantes de New York n'était pas au rdv. Ne valait malheureusement pas les 80$ pour 2 personnes.
Very warm welcome, efficient service especially the lady who taking care of the table & the waiter name Howie they do an excellent job 👏🏻... & excellent meal quality! We chose this restaurant somewhat by chance, but we have no regrets.
