Une expérience magique chez Maman Ma visite chez Maman est depuis toujours une expérience magique du début à la fin. Dès que je franchie la porte, je suis accueillie par une atmosphère chaleureuse & enchanteresse qui me transporte dans un monde de délices culinaires. Le service est impeccable, avec un personnel attentionné & courtois, prêt à répondre à tous besoins. Les plats sont une véritable explosion de saveurs, mettant en valeur des ingrédients frais & savoureux. & que dire de leur café, tout simplement divin ! L'ambiance du café est elle aussi magique, avec une décoration charmante & une atmosphère accueillante qui permet de se détendre complètement. En résumé,une expérience inoubliable, & je recommande vivement cet endroit à tous ceux qui recherchent un véritable enchantement pour les papilles à Montréal.

Maman came up as one of the top brunch spots in the area in my Google search so I decided to try it out on a Sunday. I'm happy I reserved a table a day before because when I showed up there was a line of 10-12 people waiting outside. Even with a reservation, I still had to wait 15 minutes to get seated which is why I'm removing a star. Nevertheless, the hostess was extremely friendly & helpful, she was clearly busy sorting things out so props to her for handling everything in such a friendly manner. The servers were quick to take our order & bring our food. The food is pricey, for a breakfast bowl in the picture & a drink my bill came up to $40. Even though I have no complaints about food (it was warm, tasty, & came on time), it's hard to justify paying those prices, especially when the atmosphere is quite disappointing when you expect a cozy brunch spot. The interior of the cafe is ok. They're going for a rustic look which they've achieved nicely but in the process forgot to make it practical. The chairs were quite uncomfortable, the seat on mine was falling apart. I saw some people sitting on scraped metal folding chairs like the ones you might find at a high school concert. The place is very crammed like others said, if you're the unfortunate person sitting with your back/side to a walking path you'll for sure get brushed against every time someone passes by. Overall, worth checking out once to check-mark off your list. However, not a place I would keep going back to regularly, it didn't live up to the hype for me.
Très joli petit café sur la rue Notre Dame. Par contre, il faisait un froid polaire, tout le monde avait son manteau d'hiver sur eu,... Les boissons chaudes étaient toutes trop sucrées. Les pâtisseries étaient bonnes mais les plats de brunchs étaient décevants & ordinaires. Excellent service !
Très bon espresso. Très bon accueil. La place est très propre aussi . C'est juste le stationnement qui est difficile un peu sinon c'est une très bonne place pour jaser au tour d'un café
L'endroit est charmant, un peu étriqué mais c'est pas grave. Le café ok. La nourriture (côté sucré plus que salé) est bonne mais un peu trop cher pour ce que c'est.

Finally popped in here while killing some time for an appointment nearby (I've heard it's insanely busy on weekends so was happy to go on a weekday). The food was delicious - tried the pancakes & would absolutely order them again. $18 for a stack of three pancakes is definitely pricy but you have to accept the upscale prices if you want to dine here unfortunately. For a black coffee & pancakes, it came to about $25. The drip coffee was a bit bitter but generally tasted good. Service was so so. Took a few minutes to be seated but the server came by relatively quickly to take my order. Food came out quickly but never saw my server again until I was finished. The place was busy for 1:30pm on a weekday but I echo similar comments that there are far too many tables crammed into the space which really takes away from the atmosphere. Less so if you're seated near the front of the cafe but very much at the back near the kitchen. Overall a cute cafe to try out in the area. Would return for the pancakes!
Ce charmant café newyorkais s'est installé à Montréal il y a quelques années. Endroit sympa ou prendre un café & bruncher. Le service, quoi qu'un peu lent à la machine à café, est très sympa.
Très bon café & plats mais les portions sont déséquilibrées : 75% de l'assiette est salade/patates. La sauce chipotle est très bonne mais il n'y en a pas assez pour saucer plus que la moitié des patates. Le bacon était aussi bien réussi mais ce sont littéralement 5 morceaux de la taille de miettes. Les biscuits sont très bons. Niveau ambiance les tables sont très proches & la salle est bruyante

Café de quartier entre Grifintown & le Camal Lachine. Cosy & chaleureux, l'accueil & agréable, ainsi que le service. Tartine de saumon fumé étaient très bonnes, ainsi que le latte. Je recommande ce café
