The Food is great!! Everything I have eaten, Pizza, Subs, Chicken Wings, Fries, etc.
have tasted very good!
Stopped here on a bike trip last year & they made me one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. They were super kind & made it just perfectly.
I really enjoyed the music, classic montreal slice, Food really amazing & not expensive with good deals Definitely Reccoment this place😀
My son, in Squamish, wanted to order a pizza from Mama Dee. He was doing this because I had just come home from hospital in Valleyfield the day before. He placed the order with Mama Dee & explained why he was ordering a pizza for me. A few minutes later Mama Dee called back to tell him the pizza would be free. Wonderful that there are still people with a huge heart. BTW the pizza was great.
Thank you Mama Dee's
What an amazing establishment!! I had ordered my father a pizza for delivery after a not great time he had in the hospital. Put the order in from where I lived in British Columbia. To my surprise 10 minutes later I received a phone call from mama Dee's that they were going to pay it forward & cover the costs of this order & have delivered to his house down the road. I have been left speechless & a touch emotional as this was my childhood hangout growing up in Hudson. The new ownership went above & beyond & im so grateful that they added some much needed positivity to a rough situation! Thank you & can't wait to come
Have some pizza on my next visit home !! :)
Ordered a spinach pizza on New Year's. Day. Fantastic with lots of cheese.
We've been wanting to try this place for a while & stopped by tonight to pick up a pizza & some fries.
My daughter walked in & placed the order & the owner asked if we had been trying to call -which we had been trying to since we were coming back from a road trip & calling from about a half hour out with no luck as it always went to voicemail.
She explained they were having trouble with the phone system, & it was out of their hands.
It really wasn't a big deal & she couldn't have been more polite about the whole thing, especially given that it's not at all her doing.
Now to the main point:
The pizza was fantastic. The fries were nice & crispy in the meal was just excellent. Exactly what we were hoping for after a long day of cycling & then driving back home.
Our daughter said the lady who she believed to be the owner could not have been any sweeter & her food was ready in just a few minutes & we completely devoured it as soon as we got in.
Mama D - we sincerely hope your phone system is up & running & not causing you any more stress & just know you have new loyal fans in the neighbourhood who will be stopping by for more pizza very soon!
First time eating here & I have to say I'm disappointed. After seeing that it has a 4.5 star, I was so excited to try it.
However I can't recommend it or give it better than a 3 star. I am not trying to be offend, just giving my honest first impression review.
Let me start by saying that the place was clean & cozy, the ingredients were of good quality, & the owner seemed nice. In essence, all the qualities you'd expect from a hidden gem.
Like many other reviews mentioned, the dough was dry, like it had been cooked at too low a temperature for too long...so yeah like cardboard... I also found there to be too little sauce, I could barely taste it, & with the dough being dry it made the experience less than enjoyable.
I noticed from the reviews that there seems to be some inconsistencies with the dough, & maybe I caught it on a bad day, but all in all, I won't be going back for seconds. You don't get a second shot at a first impression.
