This place reminds me of Big Way Hot Pot in Vancouver, but I have to say it's far from perfect. I suppose it's just opened not long ago, so they still have time to improve as they go further. The vibe & service are decent, both scoring 7/10, & it's impeccably clean at 10/10. However, the food falls short with a rating of 5/10. Personally, I still prefer having a soup base for my hot pot rather than just dry. Will consider to go back.View more
They offer a wide selection of choice, the mala based soup is a bit spicy but not overpowering the other flavors. The only downside is two of the vegetables I picked had a sour taste even though they just brought them to the shelf while I picked my ingredients. I understand it's hard to make sure everything is 100% fresh, but that one or two items that are not ruin the whole experience. Better quality control needed for sure.View more
The broth was not that good, for the price I expected it to be flavorful & spicy. You get a better deal at the Lamb place next to it! The water was also really bitter :( won't come back for sure. The service was nice though the lady was friendly & helpful 👍View more
Great selection of choices. Amazing tasting soupsView more
Had this for the first time while exploring Mtl's china town, & it was delicious, such a unique style of hot pot/pick your own ingredients. Gentleman working the cash was extremely friendly & approachable, & the chef did a fantastic job on my ramen! Super tasty & I had some left over for the following day. Thank you guys!View more
Food was amazing definitely recommend going here👍View more
Great place. Lots of food varieties on the shelf, different pot bases to choose from. They got cute sauce plates too!! Price for 2 bowls in picture comes to $35 The only downside about this place is the stairs. The anti slip pads are very narrow so watch your stepsView more
Hidden gem, you pay 3.50$ by each 100 g of food you choose for your soup (veggies, meat, pasta, seafood, everything is the same price) & then you select your broth (2$). Our soup came to around 17-18$ tax in, very good portion. Be careful, the extra spicy broth is officially the spiciest soup I've eaten in Montreal (& I normally eat very hot food).View more
One of my favourite spots in the city. Simple premise- make-your-own soups. But so tasty & comforting. & gets better with every visit as your learn what ingredients you like & what works best together.View more
Amazing broth, great selection of ingredients.View more
J'y retournerai avec d'autre ami !View more
The best hotpot in the heart of Montreal Chinatown ❤️❤️❤️View more
It was delicious! My belly could implode because I underestimated the quantity. Since you have so many choice of meat, vegetables & sea food, you can't help but put everything in your bowl & that's where you can get caught by your appetite but don't worry, you can bring the rest home & reheat so you're paying by weight & it's worth your wallet ! The cashier/waiter was really nice & took the time to know my background as he was curious to know if I was Chinese or not.View more
Pretty decent Malatang It is flavor intense & leans towards the saltier side so I would recommend veggies & carbs to help support the flavor. Fast & quick service, it's in the second floor.View more
This was my first experience I have never tried hot pot before & I liked the concept of picking your own ingredients & paying according to weight ! The spot is kind of hidden in china town I never noticed it before But I am happy I discovered it ! I asked for the vegetarian soup which is tomatoes soup & told them I like it spicy & it was awesome ! I paid 16 dollars ( taxes & tips included ) Kind of feels like your own mom cooking a soup for u & the spot was super comfy & the service extra kind . I asked the waitress questions & she was very helpful ! I will be going back for sure ❤️View more
A great time - delicious mala, super friendly staff, & I will definitely be returning :)View more
Clean, fresh, & the waitress was friendly & welcoming. Most importantly, the price is really decent!! I tried the classic soup base. It was milky & tasted, not too spice. Highly recommend!!View more
