Excellent food, highly professional staff, & unmatched cleanliness.
UPDATE:
They changed their toum. Might as well just put mayo. It needs more garlic... it was disappointing last time to say the least.. i really hope they actually maintained quality in lebanon. Dont franchise if youre going to ruin the taste
Old review:
My all time favorite sandwich in Lebanon now in MTL! Its exactly how i remember it! Tastes amazing, very generous, & budget-friendly, just like back home.
People there are very friendly & truly portray Lebanese hospitality & generosity.
Keep it up guys! Love it.
Pro tip: ask for the tawook special, extra garlic & in a ab3a w nos ;)
Excellent service & brings back memories from Lebanon. Clean & fast service.
I grew up near Bliss St in Lebanon where Malak El Tawouk is a DELICIOUS go-to! The first time this Malak El Tawouk location opened in Montreal my fiancé & I made the drive from Ottawa to go try it & it was so delicious we brought back sandwiches for the whole family!!! & the place was packed! We just went back again yesterday, very excited for a taste of home, & it was so incredibly disappointing. Did not taste the same at all. It is now an edible chicken sandwich. Very meh. Very mediocre. But is definitely NOT Malak el Tawouk anymore. We will wait until our next trip to Lebanon to have it again on Bliss St because this definitely isn't it 👎
The food tastes the same as the ones in Lebanon & the service was great !
An amazing spot for authentic Lebanese sandwiches that truly deliver on flavor! The Tawook sandwich was absolutely delicious & tasted just like the ones you'd find in Lebanon-perfectly seasoned, tender, & wrapped with care. The traditional Lebanese burger sandwich was another standout, packed with rich, authentic flavors that brought back so many memories. If you're craving a taste of Lebanon, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended for anyone seeking genuine Lebanese street food done right!
I was expecting much better from this place. The shish sandwich wasn't juicy & too much bread in it. Nothing is especial about it. Malak al tawouk used to be always my favourite place in Lebanon. it is not the same flavour at all.
A taste of Lebanon authentic tawook right in the middle of Montreal. The chicken tawook sandwich is flavorful, juicy, & big. You get to see their generosity in ingredients while they make your sandwich.
the food is amazing, fresh & the sandwich is just like the one in lebanon
As its name suggests, Malak Al Tawouk truly deserves to be called the King of Tawouk. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm & welcoming atmosphere that instantly transported me back to Lebanon. The food was nothing short of exceptional. The Tawouk was perfectly seasoned & grilled, resulting in juicy, tender chicken that was bursting with flavor. Every bite reminded me of the authentic Lebanese cuisine I grew up with. The accompanying sides, from the crispy fries to the creamy garlic sauce, were the perfect complement to the meal. Whether you're looking for a quick meal or a place to sit down & savor the flavors of Lebanon, Malak Al Tawouk is the place to be. I left completely satisfied & already looking forward to my next visit.
Love the food! A taste of Lebanon! The tawouk sandwich was great & the lebanese burger is amazing! Great garlic dip!
Really less than average. Big large portions but the problem is that not was not tasty. Nothing to do with the real deal you would have in Lebanon & even in the UAE. The ketchup addition beats me. While it is common in the traditional lebanese potato sandwich, it really is a twist that I find strange in the shish taouk. Still, some people seem to appreciate it: good for them. We would surely not do.it again. Sorry
