Great authentic food. Excellent service despite the fact it was crowded at our time of visit. Everyone loved, even the kids.
As its name suggests, Malak Al Tawouk truly deserves to be called the King of Tawouk. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm & welcoming atmosphere that instantly transported me back to Lebanon. The food was nothing short of exceptional. The Tawouk was perfectly seasoned & grilled, resulting in juicy, tender chicken that was bursting with flavor. Every bite reminded me of the authentic Lebanese cuisine I grew up with. The accompanying sides, from the crispy fries to the creamy garlic sauce, were the perfect complement to the meal. Whether you're looking for a quick meal or a place to sit down & savor the flavors of Lebanon, Malak Al Tawouk is the place to be. I left completely satisfied & already looking forward to my next visit.
Just had my first sandwich here & it tasted SO good. Very similar to its authentic Lebanese flavours. It made me very happy! The place is super clean, the staff is kind & helpful even the music was nice. Happy to see someone share the delicious flavours of Lebanon with the people of Montreal who always appreciate them. Also, the prices are quite reasonable, which is nice to have these days.
I respect the chain's authenticity, but it seems the flavors differ from its counterparts in Lebanon ( based on personal experience) & Dubai, according to what I've heard from friends who tried it there. To be fair, the place maintains cleanliness, & this extends to both the sandwiches & their components. People that work there are super nice & helpful. When you order a sandwich, expect it to come with an ample serving of coleslaw tucked between two layers of bread or pita, a modest amount of cheese, & the Tawouk. On a scale, I'd give the Tawouk sandwich a 6 out of 10. The reason being, it's heavy on the coleslaw & bread, while sparing on the cheese, & the chicken, when tasted on its own, lacks sufficient seasoning. While I'd suggest giving it a try, it's not something I find myself longing for.
