As its name suggests, Malak Al Tawouk truly deserves to be called the King of Tawouk. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm & welcoming atmosphere that instantly transported me back to Lebanon. The food was nothing short of exceptional. The Tawouk was perfectly seasoned & grilled, resulting in juicy, tender chicken that was bursting with flavor. Every bite reminded me of the authentic Lebanese cuisine I grew up with. The accompanying sides, from the crispy fries to the creamy garlic sauce, were the perfect complement to the meal. Really less than average. Big large portions but the problem is that not was not tasty. Nothing to do with the real deal you would have in Lebanon & even in the UAE. The ketchup addition beats me. While it is common in the traditional lebanese potato sandwich, it really is a twist that I find strange in the shish taouk. Still, some people seem to appreciate it: good for them.
