Makro suscite globalement des retours positifs sur la qualité de la cuisine et l'ambiance, avec un service apprécié et des suggestions de cocktails réussies, mais les avis restent contrastés sur le rapport qualité prix et le déroulement du service. Certaines expériences signalent des plats servis froids ou trop salés, des plats oubliés, des sauces qui ont tourné et des temps d'attente entre entrées et plats ainsi que des soucis avec l'addition et le pourboire. Pour autant, d'autres convives louent des plats savoureux, des fruits de mer et des viandes bien travaillés, une decoration soignee et une ambiance festive qui donnent envie de revenir en groupe ou en famille.
Menu incroyablement savoureux. J'ai l'habitude du grand frère, le Grinder, & franchement l'expérience des saveurs n'a pas à rougir & si ce resto était situé ailleurs il aurait une plus grande notoriété.
Un restaurant exceptionnel ! La nourriture était tout simplement délicieuse, chaque plat parfaitement maîtrisé & plein de saveurs. Le gérant & le personnel se sont montrés incroyablement attentifs & attentionnés, rendant l'expérience encore plus agréable. L'ambiance était festive (difficile de s'entendre), & le décor soigné & moderne. Je recommande vivement ce restaurant pour un moment gastronomique
We were a group of 6 people & we all enjoyed our dining experience! On our table we had oysters, grilled octopus, the lobster spaghetti, lamb, ribeyes, & a side of fries. The portions are pretty generous so it's easy to share with other people, my ribeye was cooked exactly how I wanted it to. Our server was so nice we had a lot of fun with her! My only ick was the person on the phone that took my reservation, she sounded like I bothered her by calling.

I truly recommend for a nice evening! The atmosphere is really cozy with a friendly staff. But the star of the show is the food 🤤 When I tell you I am still dreaming about it 1 week after! It is perfectly balanced & the cooks really know how to embellish each main pieces without overtaking the taste! It is creative but still accessible & definitely worth the try
"I'm obsessed with this place! The cozy atmosphere is so inviting, & the staff are super friendly & attentive. But the real star of the show is the food , oh my goodness, the pork ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender & literally melt in your mouth! I'm still drooling just thinking about it. & the cherry on top? Free valet parking! No more circling around for a spot. It's clear they're all about making their customers feel special. I highly recommend this gem to anyone craving delicious food & top-notch service. You won't regret it !
J'y étais avec mon Mari pour un souper en amoureux le service était incroyable la nourriture est exquise on mange bien & on est vite rassasié, pour le personnel rien à dire principalement Emmanuelle Jennifer & Antoine un grand merci à vous pour cette belle soirée mémorable je recommande vivement & c'est sûr que je reviendrai

J'ai passé une excellente soirée chez Makro Montréal ! La nourriture était vraiment délicieuse, tout comme les cocktails, & l'ambiance était top. Un endroit où on se sent bien & où la qualité est au rendez-vous. Je recommande vivement (& j'y retournerai) !
Food was good but service was terrible (we don't know her name but the french girl), forgot our order & was arrogant even. Our bill was 450$ & we had to leave 40$ tip (we never left this low a tip before). We had a birthday & she didn't do nothing & she never gave us excuses. Worst service ever from a good restaurant!
Decor & ambiance was nice. Service was good but Food was horrible. Picanha was like a chewing gum, Not meat... impossible to swallow. Beetroot not good. Salmon sashimi not good (full of oily chips & coriander) Fries very oily & supposed to come with béarnaise sauce but it came with spicy mayonnaise. Only good thing was burrata.
Arthur & his team have been great with us. We are never disappointed on the food & service . Félicitations à tous très bonne place avec amis, famille, ou meeting d'affaire

Superbe expérience! La cuisine était délicieuse & le service impeccable. Nous y sommes allés pour un anniversaire & nous avons eu le droit à une jolie bougie sur le dessert. Merci beaucoup!
J'ai eu le plaisir de célébrer mon anniversaire avec de nombreux amis samedi dernier, & tout était parfait! Un grand merci à toute l'équipe, tant en cuisine qu'au service! C'était un moment inoubliable dans une ambiance feutrée. Je recommande vivement, & le Makro & le King Crab!
La nourriture est excellente & le service est très bon. Cela dit, comme dans beaucoup de restaurants à Montreal, la musique est un peu forte & on a du mal à s'entendre.
Un 10/10, cela fait un moment deja que je n'ai pas expérimenter un restaurant à Montreal où tout était parfait comme au Makro. La serveuse était souriante , aimable & au petits soins ( les autres staff du restaurant également) , la nourriture était pour nous excellente, de bonne portions, des saveurs délicieuse & surtout la qualité des aliments!! Beau restaurant avec un décor bohème , une belle ambiance avec musique en fin de soirée, je reviendrai certainement!!
I have to say the food was absolutely amazing, but I'm really disappointed with the service. First, our food came out in three batches, so we had to awkwardly watch each other eat while waiting. I ordered a surf & turf with my steak cooked medium-well, but it came overcooked, I would even say it was more than well-done. They also messed up my father side dish TWO times. He ordered mashed potatoes & served him fries the first time & then a sweet potato before giving him the right side dish. We never got any kind of apology from the staff. Also, my mother had to wait an hour & a half for her fish, we think they probably forgot her order. Usually we wouldn't say anything, but my mother is a diabetic & it can get quite dangerous for her to wait 45 minutes for her food after her insulin injection. Lastly, we were charged two times for the Surf & Turf, but nowhere in the menu is it written that this plate is for two person & that they charge the amount times two. We gently asked our server for an explanation & she answered us "you should've asked me if it was for one or two". We went to Grinder a few months ago & it was clearly written on the menu there. When we simply suggested that they add this detail on their menu to avoid confusion, she went to talk to her manager, came back & just dropped the credit card machine on our table without an apology or an explanation. We are not cheap people & it truly did not bother us to pay for it, we just wanted details to better understand our bill & make sure that it was only a miscommunication & not a mistake. However, I found it extremely insulting the way the staff treated us when we asked for an explanation. The restaurant was empty as it was a tuesday night & even so the service was terrible. I won't be coming back. I'm usually not a picky client, but when we pay over a 100$ per person the least we expect is good service.
