The seafood platter was worth the price each kind included was great. Personally prefer giant shrimp which had stronger flavour than grilled octopus. Yuca frit was magically tasty since I didn't like it for the first bite. However I ended up eating them all.
Not a fan of leaving bad reviews, but when you don't get the value you pay for, it's gotta be cautioned for anyone else considering this spot. We were a table of 8 with a total bill around 1500$. I will start with the positives. Nice ambiance to the restaurant, valet service satisfies the parking solution, grilled octopus was great. The negatives: Service is way too slow for a restaurant asking customers to pay these prices. Multiple times, servers would be seen just hanging around & talking huddled up to each other & we would have to make a sign to come see our table. Definitely not the service we were expecting. From what we ordered, we ordered oysters which were standard, but along with the grilled octopus we ordered their so called "signature" sea bass which was overpriced & overrated for what it was. In the end, it seemed pretty basic. Just a sea bass fish cut open with a couple different sauces on it & to the side. Nothing special about it. The servers hype you up with it but it's not worth it. Just a heads up, don't fall for the same trap! Back to the service, it would be appreciated if the servers are fully bilingual. Even though I am trilingual, If I choose to speak in English & was being responded in French, it does not reflect well on the service potential. I could understand if it was McDonald's but at this price tag, it would be great to choose to communicate in the customer's preferred language between English & French. That effort was absent. Valet service could be quicker both upon arrival & upon leaving. Waiting 15 mins for your car when there are at least 2 valets is a bit too much to wait. I would gladly pay these prices at a restaurant providing price reflecting dishes & high end service. It's a little sad cause this place has potential to be better. But my bottom line: I am one & done with this one.
We were a group of 6 people & we all enjoyed our dining experience! On our table we had oysters, grilled octopus, the lobster spaghetti, lamb, ribeyes, & a side of fries. The portions are pretty generous so it's easy to share with other people, my ribeye was cooked exactly how I wanted it to. Our server was so nice we had a lot of fun with her! My only ick was the person on the phone that took my reservation, she sounded like I bothered her by calling.

This is my second time at this beautifully decorated restaurant. The ambiance is so chill & awesome. Jennifer, our waitress was an absolute delight who took care of us amazingly. The food, I went with fixed menu priced 49$, so I had grilled octopus salad, almond & bean crusted salmon & mini dessert of cream puff, matcha chocolate truffle & nata. My boyfriend had oysters, & grilled octopus with potatoes. Our dishes were paired with delicious wine of red & white. Every single dish was stunningly presented, evenly flavored, tasted very succulent. We had an excellent experience at Makro. 100% recommended!
Average at best, some dish were not so great & others were good. We took the fish of the day, lobster spaghetti & octopus out of the 3, the fish was the best. We also had entriees, same thing, the rice cake, focaccia & oysters some were ok & oysters tasted frozen. Overall good mix of good to bad. Service hard to follow. If I could put 3.5, that would be more acurate.
Wonderful food & service. We were a large group & had a menu. The cocktails were pretty good & you have many wine choices. One of the best things one the menu is the octopus, the truffle mashed potatoes. Desserts were ok & not very delicate but felt more homey & appropriate for the cold weather.
