I am veeeeeeeerry happy with my experience at Makro. Beautiful aesthetically pleasing restaurant. As a Montrealer that tries to avoid tourist traps to the best of my ability, Makro is a place that has made me very happy at all fronts & i would recommend it. The quality/ price is on point. On top of not being extremely expensive (in comparison to hot spots in Montreal, which i would consider this restaurant as being one). The quality, quantity, service time & service quality was immaculate. We received excellent suggestions depending on our tastes for cocktails. Even one of my drinks was too sweet, the server happily suggested they remake it & the let us keep the previous drink. We were very well attended. Despite the fact that we stayed longer (because we were having a good time) & other reservations were made for our table, we were instructed to go to the Speak easy down stairs to finish our drink. There, is the King Crab club which is also one of my favorite places. For the inconvenience, the barman downstairs offered our first drinks on the house. We ended up staying until very late & having an absolute blast. In the King Crab area we could sit, despite it being a club, & there was no issue. Will be back, & i highly recommend it. The music is also very good. Go for a good night.

Vraiment un service incroyable merci à notre reine Danëlle qui deux jours de suite nous a fournit un service impeccable ! Son sourire son dynamisme sa patience & sa bonne humeur communicative nous ont permis de passer un moment d'exception dans ce lieu ou la nourriture & l'ambiance sont vraiment à tomber ! 2 de mes cocktails n'étaient pas à mon goût elle me les a changé sans polémiquer ! La nourriture fut délicieuse & les cocktails également Merci Danaëlle je recommande x10000

The layout of the restaurant is really nice & the food was really good. However, everything regarding the cocktails & the wine did not satisfy for their prices : $18 for a glasss of wine for a Chianti that was not decanted, the bottle just opened, not decanted. Are the servers not aware of what a good wine makes? Can't they try it? I expressed that I thought the wine was too young & I was met with a blank face & a "I can give you another one if you want". That's not my issue. The restaurant prententiously showcases a few bottles of wine in the cellar & bottles going in the $500 & you're telling me the servers aren't able to help me correctly with my wine choice? Similar issue with a cocktail that did not meet basic requirements. Overall okay experience but being told "You have 6 minutes remaining, can I bring you the check?" leaves a bitter taste in the mouth. Please communicate proprely we had a table from this time to this time & I'll make sure to leave in good speed. Also, the hostess took other people's reservation before mine & my friend who arrived after me had the same issue. All of this doesn't equate to the picture the restaurant desperately wants to paint. I paid my bill like any other, but won't go back.

J'ai passé une excellente soirée chez Makro Montréal ! La nourriture était vraiment délicieuse, tout comme les cocktails, & l'ambiance était top. Un endroit où on se sent bien & où la qualité est au rendez-vous. Je recommande vivement (& j'y retournerai) !

Wonderful food & service. We were a large group & had a menu. The cocktails were pretty good & you have many wine choices. One of the best things one the menu is the octopus, the truffle mashed potatoes. Desserts were ok & not very delicate but felt more homey & appropriate for the cold weather.

Nourriture bonne - voir très bonne - mais les prix sont vraiment trop élevés
(100$ pour une salade, un petit bol de yuca frits & un petit tartare avec deux cocktails)

Ensuite, relativement déçue de la salade « cresson/pieuvre » qui malgré sa saveur, manque considérablement de cette petite pieuvre qu'on cherche désespérément dans l'assiette & que l'on goutte à peine évidemment ...

Conclusion: bon mais che
