We are proud to offer a modern public house the respects the rich history of this heritage building. Located in Downtown Montreal, McLean's Public House offers a cozy atmosphere, big screen TV's for sports fans, great food and excellent service with a very friendly staff.
Maison Publique McLean's delivers a lively Montreal pub experience with a warm, welcoming vibe, great food and drinks, and a spirited sports atmosphere. The menu includes burgers, nachos, a satisfying mac n cheese and other hearty favorites, with generous portions and well poured pints. Service is consistently friendly and efficient, helping groups and solo visitors feel at home during Canadiens games and playoff nights. The space blends traditional pub decor with a North American sports bar energy, complemented by a large terrace and occasional Irish music and trivia nights. It is frequently described as a go to spot for a fun, sociable night out with good energy and reliable quality.
Incredible ambiance, I went for a beer last Friday evening & decided to come back with the guys the next day to watch F1s qualifying. Well worth it, staff was awesome & they were r representing McLaren so I felt at home. Will go back for sure. Food was also great
Seems ok as a Pub for drinking ONLY ! Good variety of beers & decent pricing. Food part : ZERO. The samosas were so oily, they were fried in oil, then left overnight in oil, before serving :) . The place has a small terrace which is nice. Verdict : neutral
My favorite in mtl. Great service, relaxed atmosphere. Could be fun to have some seasonal beers or a couple more on the menu bc I've already tried em all :)
We have been consistently going to Mclean's for all big sporting events for the past year or so. They always deliver. The service is great, the beers are great. & the food is just as good. They took a reservation of 10 for us for the four nations game & it was an incredible experience. Whether its NHL, UFC, or anything, Mcleans is a go to
We stopped by for a beer & some snacks. Ordered: • Drunken Mushrooms • Samosa Both came in generous portions, were fragrant, well seasoned, crispy outside. Staff are attentive, fast with serving & friendly. Location, pub style. If you sit at a hight table, it may get tight with the neighbours at the table next to you (back to back).
Fantastic venue a very short walk from the hotel. Very warm & welcoming staff providing fantastic service. Beer & food were superb. The venue was packed on both of the evenings that I visited. First evening Iron Maiden were playing at the Bell Centre & the second evening Bruce Springsteen was in town. I highly recommend this establishment.
I used to work around here & decided to have a little 5@7 with the old work colleagues here. This used to be the Carlos & Pepe back in the day, but it's been closed since before COVID. It's a downtown bar, so you kinda have to judge it at that level. Are drinks & food kinda pricey? Yeah, but I've seen worse elsewhere in the area. If you're sitting by the window, is it going to be loud/distracting? Yes, but there's plenty of room further back. Is beer selection kinda limited? Yes & no. It's one of those "lots of selection, but not much choice". It's all Labatt products, including the fake microbrews, but my pint of Guinness was fine. Service was good, they were friendly without hovering over us constantly. Apparently there's happy hour specials but we weren't informed about them. I'm sort of torn about the food. I ordered the poutine, my friends went for the burger & fish & chips. As much as their plates were gigantic, mine was kinda small for the price, & shredded cheese on a poutine? Blasphemy! But the fries & sauce were good. Ambiance is nice, it looks a lot like the old McLean's down the road but newer & cleaner, & more TVs. There's literally no bad seat here to watch whatever game is on. So when in the neighborhood I think it's a pretty good place to hang out.

Nice staff one gentleman by the name of Greg I believe served us & also gave us a lot of information about where to do things & clubs etc. Had a few beers & some nachos.
Stopped at Pub McLean's to kill 15 minutes between busses but ended up staying for several beers & some fried mushrooms. Kilkennys were poured properly & excellent. The fried mushrooms were phenomenal. If we didn't have other plans we could have easily spent the rest of the day here. Great atmosphere & service!
Nice place. Great location with a nice patio. Good service & a friendly atmosphere with decent beer selection. Same style Irish bar/public house you find everywhere in Canada.

The mushrooms we ordered from appetizer list were incredible! The draft beer selection is good & our server was very friendly. Convenient location & a fun eclectic music playlist. Overall we had a great time :) thank you
