This review was a long time coming. Honestly one of the best experiences I have had at a restaurant in a very long time. Ordered a variety of dishes that were all spectacular; we started off with a creamy paneer bhurji with some buns, continued with a classic butter & chicken vindaloo with garlic naan, & ended off with some halwa puri & kheer, gulping it all down a warm cup of karak Chai. Both chefs responsible for these incredible dishes are bringing back Indian cuisine in a way that I have not seen done before, & I am so excited to go back & try a myriad of their dishes moving forward. A lot of love, thought & care goes into their dishes, with around 15 dollars per person. The quantities are large, & for me, the biggest win was the fact it all tasted fresh & authentic. This is not your typical restaurant.
The food was so good & special thanks to chef Aj for making sure our whole group special request are being taken care. The service was also very good.

It was a really nice experience. The staff was very attentive they guided us through the menu & gave great recommendations.

The food was very good, & they made sure we were comfortable throughout. Water was refilled without even having to ask, which was a nice touch.

The aloo tikki chaat was definitely highlight of the meal.

At the end, the chef surprised us with popsicles for dessert. It was unexpected & brought back memories such a thoughtful & unique finish.

Came to Indian house on a monday night & holy moly was it good. We ordered alot, from our own choices as well as some amazing recommendations from the chef, & i dont think ive ever had better food in a restaurant. Everything is made fresh every night & you can definitely taste it, so flavourful. Thanks again Indian House & the staff, we will definitely be back soon!

We had such a wonderful personalized experience here tonight & the food was by far the best Indian cuisine we've had in Montreal. Portions were very generous & it was really nice to be able to meet the chef & owner. We'll definitely be back soon!!

Authentic Indian taste with fine modern touch. love their Chicken momos & Samosa Chaat. Chef & the owner are very kind. We even got a complimentary amuse-bouche & dessert :)

I had a really great experience at Indian House. The food was absolutely delicious & everything was presented beautifully.

I especially loved the garlic naan, the Hakka-style noodles , Changezi style paneer, & the tikki chaat each dish was full of flavor & made with great attention to detail. You can really tell that quality & taste are a priority here.

The chef was incredibly kind & attentive, making sure everything suited our preferences & that we had a great experience overall. The service, cleanliness were all top-notch.

Highly recommend this place if you're looking for authentic flavors & a great dining experience. Definitely worth a visit!

I am again writing the review including our second visit with our family experience.

This restaurant exceeded our expectations it delivers a high-end experience at an affordable price.

The chef was outstanding, going out of his way to prepare special meals for our kids & making our visit truly memorable, while humbly crediting his team.

The service was attentive yet the team checked on us without ever disturbing the experience. We also spoke with a front-of-house staff member who shared how focused the chef is & how personally involved he is in training each team member.

The depth of the cuisine was impressive, with each flavor distinct & thoughtfully crafted & beautifully presented dishes reminded us of Michelin-level dining in France during our last summer vacation.
