A lovely tea place - the chai teas are great & the scones are delicious. & such a peaceful & relaxing ambience.
The selection of loose leaf teas is also great & the staff are very knowledgeable!

i am absolutely in love with this place!! i'm so sad that i don't live in montreal because this would become my go-to spot. the chai was possibly the best chai i've ever had, & the scone with jam was delicious. the atmosphere is a 10/10 as well. i couldn't recommend this place enough!!

J'achète tout mon thé au Cha noir. C'est LA place pour le thé à Verdun! Lorsque j'ai une chance, je découvre un nouveau thé en boutique, accompagné de leurs excellents scones! C'est un endroit accueillant & paisible, & où l'on trouve aussi plusieurs idées cadeaux. Une institution dans le quartier.

The cosiest, most wonderful atmosphere to drink tea in! I love Cha Noir. Their tea offerings are absolutely amazing, & their service is personable & attentive. They know tea very well & offer excellent recommendations. It's a great place to study, or write your novel, since it's nice & quiet. It's also a nice place to meet up with friends. Try their recommendations. It's well worth it. I also highly recommend the scone!

Lovely, adorable, atmospheric tea house. You can sit & enjoy a variety of tea & a limited food menu or you can purchase loose leaf to go, as well as tea accessories like pots, cups, strainers & more. We sat & had a unique tea from Sri Lanka with beautiful cups to match. We also had a scone & homemade jam which was just scrumptious. The environment is lovely & calm. The people who served us were very kind. If I lived nearby, I'd be here all the time.

The staff are all incredibly passionate & knowledgable about tea -- they always answer my questions thoroughly & are always excited about sharing different teas with me. The ambiance inside & on the terrace is calming & peaceful. I can't comment on the food in detail because I've only tried the scones (which were great). One of my favourite spots in Montreal.
